Great view and view. Went to BVI Coffee Shop for pastries and walked the dock there. We only stayed a night here before picking up our charter sailboat. Will definitely do again. The price is worth it and getting a rental cat made it easy to provision for our trip and also take a lesson with BVI Kite Sailing.

A living piece of history with amazing views and a cordial staff. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings and gorgeous views of the bay. A/C and WIFI were strong and the TV came with standard cable channels. Water pressure was strong and the hot water was plentiful. Breakfast is available 7-9 and Dinner 5-8. Breakfast is limited to coffee, tea and a plate of Eggs, Sausage and English Muffin. Dinner menu included various pastas, meats and fish. I had a grilled grouper with cajun sauce veggies and rice...DELICIOUS. The cook is the cutest elderly woman who provides motherly service and even called a taxi for me. Dining is on the veranda and seems is mainly patronized by a few hotel guests. I will definitely stay here next time and encourage adventurous lovers of the authentic Caribbean experience to give it a chance. If you need a luxury hotel with a sea of smiling faces I recommend you look elsewhere.

Home of the Sputtering Showers… Terrible service, dirty and dated lobby, bar, pool and rooms. Dilapidated furniture & cushions in reception area with a smoked, plastic window at reception desk to slide your card to host like a no tell motel! Door on room is so loose, it shifts with wind and is very easily opened by sliding any card between door jam…see picture. Other security measure at top of door is inoperable. Nice view of Road Harbour from balcony, but you feel railing and half of deck is going to give way from deteriorating conditions. I was only guest in #302 until staff checked in a group directly next to me in #301 in evening. They were very loud and I discovered how paper thin the walls were at this establishment. I made an inquiry to staff at 9:30pm about noise, as I had an early flight ✈️ next day…they sent security to ask them to be respectful of other guests as I heard entire conversation, easily through walls. This worked for 15 minutes total!!! The volume of conversation and noise continued to rise and I went back to office to ask for new room at 10:30pm…of course, the staff had gone home for the evening and only security guard was on premise. He was earlier person who asked loud party to be respectful and called his staff, telling them about escalation and that my request to change rooms was a reasonable request…he told me I should have an answer quickly and I told him I would be in my room. Nothing…no knock at my door or notification via room phone that I could move rooms or that the other room had been disciplined. So for the next 4️⃣ hours til 02:30am I was in/out of sleep a dozen times, because the group yacked away til 03:00am. I looked forward to a comfortable morning, but moved up my timetable to get away from this place. Kinda upset at folks I spoke with who recommended this place, it definitely is an establishment I will never tell anyone to stay at, even people I don’t like! The price per night should be halved for the conditions, even during peak season, this is not the place to stay for $220/night!!! I gave it a two on location, only because of view and close proximity to Conch Charters, which is a fantastic company!

Absolute hidden gem! We came here after a 10 day Conch Charter sailboat trip and we were treated like royalty. Whatever you do, don't come expecting a 5 star resort. Instead, you find a home town hotel, run by locals, well kept rooms, amazing views from every direction, and a sweet lady, named Lyra, who will become so familiar that you begin to question if she is actually a part of your family. From check in to check out, the experience was superb. We did splurge and get the room with a pool and it was worth every cent. Wonderful hotel and staff and the only complaint that we had was that it was entirely too empty for the amenities and view. Stay at Fort Burt Hotel.

Staff are very nice. The view of the rooms is great over the Road Town bay
