Visited Foursquares while attending Barbados Nat’l Trust event. Decided to choose this as one my locations to celebrate my birthday.
Grounds: Lovely; lush. Tour of the actual distillery was fine but very hot, but luckily was quick.
Tasting: My friend and I decided to do the 6 rum tastings. The rums were good, great quality but quite strong for me as I am not a rum drinker.
Staff: I enjoyed the hospitality and great service. Ashley conducted our tasting and she was knowledgeable, engaging, accommodating and kind. Janelle at the gift shop was also very pleasant and friendly, and made me feel special for my birthday.

The tour at Foursquare Rum Distillery was absolutely educational and engaging. Our guide, though fairly new, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and process behind the distillery’s world-famous rums. We had the opportunity to sample seven different rums, each rich in flavor and crafted with precision—no sugar added, just pure quality.
We even tasted the water produced on site, which added to the experience. This visit is a must for anyone traveling to Barbados, especially since it’s the rum capital of the West Indies.

The main attraction is the rum tasting, that was conducted by Lea, who was charming and informative. There are 2 options, you can either try their basic rums or pay a bit more to taste the limited edition ones (which you can't buy on site). Both are worth the money. You can wander around the site or have a guided tour, whichever you prefer.

We wanted to visit a distillery on the island without joining a guided tour, and Foursquare was truly the best place to do it. The grounds are beautiful and we even saw a monkey while walking around. The tasting room has a gorgeous stone interior and the cost was 50 Barbados dollars per person. A great spot to explore, taste, and enjoy at your own pace. Highly recommend!

Tamera is the best!!!! She is very knowledgeable of the whole history of the distillery and was able to answer any questions our small group sent her way.
Tamera allowed us ample time to take photos before proceeding into the next areas of the tour.. I was by myself with a couple who was able to take photos of each other and I loved how Tamera asked me if wanted my photo taken with the rum bottles I sampled. She provided the perfect photo opportunity by the way she lined up the bottles and even made sure I was positioned right.
