The unit we stayed in was nice itself, however it's proximity to the stinky electrical plant next door was a huge turn off. It's a real shame because the beach is amazing. The other downer was that there isn't much nearby so dining out without a vehicle isn't really an option. The only place in walking distance (10min walk) is Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Lovely spot on almost deserted beach, don't be put off by access via brewery and electric plant. 15 min walk along beach to great restaurant. Plenty of sea life for snorkeling.

The rooms were spacious , air conditioning working well and right in front of the beach . My only complaint was that the sea current was Abit strong so it was challenging with kids. However that's no fault of Freshwater Bay.

Great facility with beautiful grounds and beach. A little off the beat & path but buses available just at the top of the hill. Great little bar with decent food just across the road.
