Might be the nicest beach I've seen and been in. The sand is bright white and fine. The area for swimming and snorkeling is huge....no rocks in the main swimming area, and a nice little rock section to one side of the beach for some easy and good snorkeling. The beach is so far north on the island in a really sparse area of the island, other then tour buses, there's not much people.

Please bring extra water and dog food, if you can (no running water onsite. We've put out several bowls for the family of abandoned dogs with 5 poppies who survive thanks to the kindness and empathy of tourists. Very close and free parking for the beautiful, a must-visit Grote-Kneip beach. The dogs are very timid, and you can see the sadness of abandonment on their faces. They are docile and calm.

Absolutely stunning and amazing beach. Beautiful sand, coral, blue water. The view coming around the parking lot to see that crystal blue water is one of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen. The smoothies in the parking lot were good as well!

Grote Knip Beach is an absolute must-visit! Plenty of parking, but definitely get there early because it fills up fast. I arrived at 10am on a Thursday and was one of the first ones there—by the time I left around 1pm, the lot was full and even overflowing. Chair rentals are super convenient: 2 chairs and an umbrella for just $20 USD, cash or card. There are also lots of pop-up vendors in the parking area, which is such a nice touch. I highly recommend grabbing an empanada and a homemade piña colada—both were delicious! The beach itself is stunning with crystal-clear blue waters and the perfect vibe for a relaxing day. Definitely recommend this hot spot!

It's beautiful water is great etc...just like other spots on the island. But the crowds and people that don't know how to behave in public is something else. Found this beach attracted more rude people ...a lot of cruise ship people the day I went.
