Had a fantastic time with Half Moon Charters! Captain Pedro and 1st Mate Issac were the absolute best. They made the entire trip so much fun with their local knowledge and entertaining commentary. The swimming with the pigs was a highlight, but snorkeling on the reef and seeing the sea turtles were incredible too. They were super attentive to our safety and made sure everyone had a great time. Highly recommend!

Our experience was AWESOME!! It’s a much more personal experience than I’ve been on before, we seen the pigs and did the turtle encounters, our crew was awesome! Laid back but didn’t cut corners, were friendly and explained and answered all questions, on our boat it was just us and one other family, they had lunch(dinner for us it was like 6) was set up with a local restaurant our captain walked us in and gave us space and bill was covered unless you wanted a upgrade, Great Time!

My experience I would say was so so. A positive was that the crew on board the boat was accommodating. They gave us a tour on the way to the Rose Island and then again on the way back to Nassau. I didn’t rate a 5 because we were told the excursion also included meeting with sea turtles, swimming with pigs, snorkeling with fishes, etc. Which we got to do none of. The only thing we did was feed the pigs as we were told the water was too choppy that day for us to do anything else. I was disappointed and felt that should have been communicated prior to us getting on the boat so that we could then make a value based decision as to whether we would do the excursion. Because I believe we should have been able to do more than just feed pigs for $250 per person. It was our anniversary so we tried to enjoy the trip for what it was nonetheless.
