if you are here, you have braved past the tourist concrete jungle adjacent the ship port, and made your way into where the locals live... you can see its a simple, but beautiful place... this corner grocery store sports some of the best views of any humble grocery store i've ever seen... i can't help but compare this entire stretch of road to Lahaina and Front Street in Maui because of the similar physical characteristics... they accept USD but will refund your change in EC (European Currency)... i handed them a $20 dollar US bill to pay for my carton of juice and was handed over $50 back in EC... so i couldn't tell you what the conversion is... basically, if you're looking to support local, and, get some ridiculously cheap groceries, this is your place... need just a single local beer to carry around and feel native? they sell those here too...
