We extended our stay by two nights and booked a Deluxe Suite Garden Room with a private pool. Having enjoyed the same room type in 2022, we expected a similar experience. Unfortunately, upon check-in, both pools were visibly dirty, with leaves and what appeared to be bird droppings in and around the water. Both the small and large pool were filthy. After reporting the issue, managers Veronica and Adrian inspected the pool, apologized, and advised it would be cleaned the following morning. As compensation, we were offered dinner at Zen for my husband's birthday, which unfortunately was also disappointing. The next day, the pool remained unclean, making it unusable for the second consecutive day despite paying a premium for a pool room. Manager Dean responded, personally attempted to clean the pool, and followed up with us during dinner, which we appreciated and showed genuine care. While the staff's efforts, particularly Dean's, were commendable, the most appropriate resolution would have been relocating us to another room. We paid specifically for a private pool experience and were unable to enjoy that amenity throughout our stay.

We decided to stay 2 nights here so we could have a full resort day before checking into our Condo on the other side of the island. So we head down to enjoy the pools and poolside service. We then find out they closed all the pools and pool decks for the entire day for maintenance. We traveled long and far to get to Barbados and this resort. This is a complete crap way of treating customers. The resort pools being closed should have been disclosed at booking or at least before our arrival so we could have booked elsewhere. We were blindsided and of course not offered any solution/remedy. Won't be back. It's too bad because it was a nice property and most of the employees were friendly and helpful. Beware!

We stayed for the second time at The Crane Resort in Barbados for a staycation and, unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing given the resort’s reputation. Our room included a BBQ grill, but there was no propane tank — it took over 2.5 hours to get one delivered. The dishwasher came with no pods, and while there was coffee provided, there was no coffee machine to use it. Basic amenities were also missing — no hand soap, only body lotion, and no oven glove in the kitchen. The room pool had sand in it and there were no staff members around to assist at the pool area. While the team did offer an on-site credit to compensate for the inconvenience, there was no monetary compensation, which felt insufficient considering the number of issues we encountered. Overall, the setting is beautiful, but the service and attention to detail fell far short of expectations for a resort of this level.

There’s some beautiful rugged place in the resort, But the facility is not well maintain or to the top quality: the shower knob broke and we had to change to the same room with no upgrade for the issue, when our evening is wasted from moving everything to different room. Whenever we ask for towels or anything else, the front desk needs to call us an hour later to confirm we have received the towels etc. And woke us up in some evening. A real annoyance. A mix feeling about the place. I e view of the morning walk to the beach but the facility and staffs need to be trained. No upgrade for Hilton elite member. They told em this is a grand vacation, not a true Hilton. If I knew I would have book the Hilton Resort on the weather side which’s calmer wave for my kid.

My husband and I had a delightful stay here recently. The hotel, including the rooms and pools and all surrounding areas are beautiful and we enjoyed walking throughout the hotel. We even got to see the green monkeys swing from the balcony! The reason why we are giving four stars versus five is because we felt the pools, with the amounts of people in them, should have been better maintained and while we were there, two pools had to be closed. There were a couple other hiccups and we reached out to management and the service manager Tennyson Gill immediately addressed them and was so caring, courteous and kind. We appreciated his prompt attention and resolution. Also Maria, the Service Hub Manager personally visited us and brought us a bottle of wine for our anniversary which was so thoughtful. And last but not least, Gloria the Carriage House Supervisor was attentive and caring as well and took care of us when we went to the breakfast buffet our last morning. We thank these people for contributing to our lovely stay there.
