Hog Heaven is amazing. Don't miss it! It was actually our most memorable dinner out during our time on VG. Go at sunset, it is beyond unforgettable. They have a trillion dollar view up there. Service was great. Our waiter had a great sense of humor and provided excellent service! The food and drinks were spectacular, definitely unique with a regional flair! The barbecue sauce truly is special and we loved it. The drinks were wonderful. Banana daiquiri was perfect. We would love to have seen Carib available though. It would have gone very well with the fried chicken! Would highly recommend an evening here while visiting!

Hog Heaven – Where the View Hits First, and the Painkillers and Bush Whackers Finish the Job If you ever find yourself cruising through Spanish Town and wondering whether the drive up the hill is worth it, let me save you the suspense — yes. Hog Heaven doesn’t just offer a view; it offers the view. The kind that makes you stop mid‑sentence, mid‑breath, and possibly mid‑life‑crisis to reconsider your priorities. We rolled in for lunch and were greeted by a staff so friendly you’d think they were auditioning for “Most Likely to Brighten Your Day.” Mike, our waiter and unofficial flavor‑sherpa, steered us toward all the right choices. The man knows his menu like a preacher knows his Bible. Then came the food — and this is where Hog Heaven earns its name. The ribs? Absolute showstoppers. Tender, smoky, and the kind of good that makes you close your eyes for a second just to process what’s happening. Pair that with their dangerously delicious Painkillers, and suddenly everything in life feels solvable. Every plate was a hit, every suggestion from Mike was spot‑on, and every glance out over that turquoise panorama felt like a postcard come to life. If you’re in the BVI and skip Hog Heaven, that’s a personal choice — but it’s the wrong one. Go for the views, stay for the ribs, and toast the moment with a Painkiller that lives up to its name.

What a fabulous restaurant! I don't know why there are some poor food reviews here because EVERY single thing we tried was spectacular!!! We are here for a week and can't wait to go back before we leave!!!

Wonderful stop at Hogs Haven! Blonde is the owner/chef and wow can he make some ribs! A must have! The Bush Whacker is the best on the island and the view is spectacular! We will be back!!!

The best barbecue in the world is at the top of the mountain in Virgin Gorda. They serve the most scrumptious, pull-off-the-bone meats - with a sauce to die for. We shared the pork ribs and barbecue chicken. Both were equally delicious! For sides, we loved the plantains and potato salad. Prices are average, but the views and great service make it worth every penny. We cannot wait for the day we return. My only recommendation - bottle up that mouth-watering sauce and ship it worldwide!
