Holetown is a lovely place and this beach is in a great spot. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby so you can tap into their WiFi (if you must 🤣), and close to the town centre so you can nip to the supermarket for beach essentials.
At the opposite end of the beach is Folkestone Park offering more shade from the hot midday sun.
There’s a reef 🪸 5-10m from the shore where you’ll see all the fish 🐠 you could ever wish for. For the stronger swimmers, 🏊, if you swim a little further out you can see turtles 🐢 grazing on the sea grass and coming up for air. Sunbeds are between $20-$30bds each. You have access to inflatable rides, jet skis and glass bottom snorkel 🤿 boats at extra cost.
If you’re staying locally, there’s no need to venture into Bridgetown for, you can just set up camp here for the day. Our first choice beach in every Barbados 🇧🇧 visit.

It is such a lovely area. We enjoy power walking on the beach, snorkeling and sundowners at the beach bars. It is beautiful and the water is so clear.

The sand is great but Lots of rocks on the sea floor, we were there when unfortunately the swells were pretty strong and every wave pelted your ankles with rocks

A good beach, but a little bit busy with tourists and guys trying to sell you deck chairs.
