First time visitor to Bonaire and we wanted to try a little more upscale choice for dinner. We went during happy hour just after 5:30. Roxy was our server. She was fantastic! Only one serving the entire area!! She was hustling - not slouching at all. Wanting us to have a great experience. Such a happy greeting and quick to point out the quirky menu. Most like tapas and a few “meal” choices that were $$$ vice the tapas being about half. We would have definitely tried more if we were more hungry. Definitely try the Thai calamari!! Oh my. I think I could have eaten three bowls!! Delicious. Atmosphere was top
Notch we sat outside during the sunset. And apart fr the continuous car traffic - it was a magnificent choice to sit outside and watch the sunset!!! We ended up eating our dinner meal which was the catch of the day before we took pictures bc we did have flies just swarm in as soon as ths came in. Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.

If you are in Bonaire.
This place is a must.
The food was delicious
Roxy was our server for dinner.
She was very knowledgeable about the menu and was just a delight.
Her smile is inviting.
The Chef Brandon, can cook.
Everything on the menu is phenomenal.
This is my favorite place to eat in Bonaire.

Decent food, a little pricey, sweet spot to watch the sunset but constant lane of cars/bikes. More like tapas, the ol’Smokey burger had brisket (good) and a patty (overdone). Service is friendly but very slow. Nice cocktail/beer list.

If you are looking for Michelin star level food In a down to earth your on vacation environment this is it!
Every dish we have tried is met with elegance and knock out taste.
Being from Texas we are very weary of bbq, steak, or pulled pork and this would give any Texas eatery a run for their money on the pulled pork tacos.
The lobster ravioli bisque was life changing. Five stars is just not enough to rate this wonderful establishment. From the owners who spent time visiting with us to the views. You have to make this your first and last stop on your vacation.

We had the most memorable experience at Hooked by Sunsets! It was our first night in Bonaire after a long day of travel, and we were a little out of sorts trying to find a good place to grab a bite. We stumbled onto this spot, with a gorgeous view of the water and sunset, and fell in love. We chose the four course chef’s menu with pairings, and every course was surprising and delightful. I especially loved the duck! The chef was creative, and you can tell he really loves what he does. The wait staff, namely Roxie, were so hospitable and personable, we just loved being there! Do yourself a favor and book an evening at Hooked by Sunsets!
