The cave is conveniently reachable by car. You watch for the signpost off the main road and enter a gravel road. You drive a mile or so to reach the cave. There you can see the artwork of the Arawak, around 2000 years old. The sign explains the backstory behind the inscriptions.

The inscriptions are not spectacular...but the landscape with all the cactuses is much more impressive :)
Don't follow Google Maps - before the landsailing spot there is a sign with different directions. Follow the dusty road which is parallel to the sea.

Google mapping is misleading. You need to turn in at the go cart track and follow the very cool dirt road through the cactus to this cave spot and other attractions along the coast here.

We only came because it was a google maps tourist point. And we were glad we did. The area around the art was beautiful. Stunning rubbers coastline.
The road wasn’t graded, yet the tiny rental car handled it like a boss

If you’re a history nerd this is the place for you. I enjoyed the long, poorly marked drive along the coast as an adventure. G Maps helped guide me but beware of weak or lost signals. But don’t worry, it’s a small island, you can’t get too lost.
The petroglyphs are in good condition and interesting to see. I read that they are likely 15th C.
