I’ve been on this river safari three times and can o oh say great things about it. Lloyd’s knowledge about the river systems is unparalleled, and his passion for nature comes out in every word he speaks on the trip up the river.
This is not your typical tourist attraction. This is for people who want a class in wetland biology from a wetland biologist.
Do yourself a favour and book a trip! It’s an amazing experience!

We had a fantastic time with Captain Lloyd, he’s very knowledgeable and a great companion. The perfect mix of education and fun! You’ll see a ton of wildlife and travel a pristine river with a nice mix of different habitats.
Make sure to pay a couple extra bucks for the extended tour and visit Sister Lou’s for some delicious crab and cold drinks. She is an excellent host and has a clutter of lovely cats hanging around (who would greatly appreciate some of your crab).
I HIGHLY recommend this tour.

We gave Lloyd a call and he was spontaneously available for us. We had a fun tour with him! We saw crocodiles, ospreys and a lot of birds, e.g the "Jesus bird". Lloyd also explained the vegetation. He has such a huge knowledge. It was great spending the morning with him and to learn from him. It was a unique experience and we absolutey recommend his tour.

The land of Wood and Water is surely captured in its unmatched Beauty here.
Our Guide Mr. Linton offered the most amazing tour. We weren’t bored, he was engaging, answered our questions and was quite accommodating.
He even pet two of the crocs 🐊 ....how epic.
NB if going save your chicken skins and fat to feed the crocs. They swim right up to the boat 🚣♀️.

It was definitely different from the usual boat tours along the Black River. The guides were very knowledgeable and personable. The ATV experience is as I can describe, one of a kind in Jamaica. It was also very educational as it was fun. The lookout tower was magnificent, the views were breathtaking.
