As an expat I rented cars from Island Drive for over 3 years consecutively. The cars were great, VJ and his team always offered friendly and professional service. His guys are super polite. The two times (in 3 years) I had minor mechanical issues, they immediately sent someone with a replacement car. I’m also the founder/admin of a large expat group and always happy to recommend Island Drive to our new members and visiting friends.

I had a fantastic experience renting with Island Drive Rental Car in Barbados. The team was incredibly nice, accommodating, and highly professional throughout the entire process. From booking to pick-up and return, everything was smooth and hassle-free. Their friendly service made my trip even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be using them again for all my future car rental needs on the island. Highly recommended!!!!

We wish to say a special thanks to Island Drive for the exceptional service my family received from them but especially Jamar. Our hearts are filled with gratitude because of Jamar’s professionalism and his constant updates from the beginning to the end of this entire process. From that Saturday morning when my husband and I test drove that car to expressing our desire of buying same for our daughter, it was that true genuine individual in Jamar that convinced us this is the car for her and Island Drive was the better choice for us. We got quotes from other dealers and cheaper to but listen I do not regret the experience with Island Drive. Jamar did not disappoint. We were caught in the Government system shut down for registration of the cars but Jamar kept us informed and his comforting words at every step of the way really held on to us light crazy glue. We were hoping to get everything sorted for my birthday but it did not work out. Jamar was so disappointed because he couldn’t deliver the car then and surely of no fault of his. But this is the care and conform we received from Jamar. Not for once have we ever felt as though a car was pushed on us simply for a sale. Jamar was genuine and very very very professional in every dealing with us. You could call him and ask any question and he’s so knowledgeable. Honestly, I cannot say where else in Barbados I have received such exceptional customer service of recent. Today the car was delivered to us fully registered and license plates attached by Island Drive. Also as advertised the car is equipped with a double din Bluetooth touchscreen Android/Apple Play set, fully tinted, full tank of gas, fully services and clean clean clean. Further he informed us that they do servicing of the vehicles as well. So here we also have after sale service to look forward to. Listen man, I can’t find not one thing to complain about the service I received from Island Drive. I have to contend that Island Drive has to be absolutely the best. THANK YOU ISLAND DRIVE

Island Drive is the absolute best car dealership in the island hands down, the service from beginning to end by Jamar was exceptional, very professional & very accommodating. I was comfortable throughout the process of receiving my new vehicle. Any questions I had I could always count on Jamar to answer the phone and provide me with the information.

Bought my vehicle from Island Drive in April 2025. Was extremely happy with the level of professionalism Jamar and the staff showed in getting the vehicle registered and delivered to me. This month the reverse camera was not connecting called Jamar and explained the issue. We scheduled an appointment within the same week for him to pick up the car. Not only was he on time but he returned the car within the time frame I gave him and explained that there was an issue with the cable. This is a company I feel extremely comfortable recommending to my family and friends
