Overall it’s not the best but not the worst too. I got the mango fruit smoothie and I liked it a lot.
Pretty good atmosphere and they have more menu items than Starbucks.

Coffee Italia in Coverley Village is hands down one of the worst places I’ve ever visited. Every single time it’s the same story: painfully slow service, rude staff, poor hygiene, and absolutely terrible customer service. It honestly feels like customers are an inconvenience to them.
What completely disgusted me was seeing staff putting their fingers in their mouths, eating, and then handling baked goods right after. That is unacceptable and honestly revolting. Basic hygiene should be common sense when serving food.
And the matcha? Absolutely disgusting. Easily the worst I’ve ever had. I kept hoping things would improve, but this place is consistently bad. Dirty atmosphere, terrible attitude, and zero professionalism. I genuinely don’t understand how this place stays in business.

This place customer service is yet the worst. I’ve ever experienced here in Barbados because I live I am stuck having to come here to grab a cuppa coffee. I just asked for a second spoon so I can share a parfait that I just purchased and just like that we don’t have an extra spoon. In addition to that, getting alterations to your coffee, for example I want less milk in my latte,” Well order an Americano then.” These are the things that we are subjected to when we’re ordering in addition to that there aren’t any friendly faces everyone has an attitude.

The REALLLL OGs of coffee!!!!! 🤌🏼🤌🏼 The taste is unmatchedddd. Starbucks cannot hold a candle to Italia Coffee.. there's no comparison.

Italia Coffee Barbados at The Villages at Coverley. I arrived at 06.45, the signs said it opened at 7am. I waited until 7.20 when I tapped on the window to ask what time she opened and the girl said 7am. I stated I had been waiting for a while and she replied, you were waiting at the wrong side which was literally 2 feet away, so she clearly saw me and chose to ignore me. I gave her my order and she barked the price at me. Once I'd paid and the order was ready she opened the other window slammed my coffee down and then slammed the takeaway reusable cup I purchased that hard it fell over and not a please or thank you to be heard. I've now met my 1st (hopefully my last) very rude and very unfriendly Bajan. 68 BBD I wish I had never spent. The coffee wasn't even nice too much milk and not enough coffee. Hopefully she was just having a bad morning and no-one else is treated this way. I don't normally write bad reviews but this has impacted my calm morning.
Anyway, I'm off to enjoy the rest of my day.
