We found Jaii on Google Maps with great reviews before our trip to Barbados. We were celebrating a birthday and had our heart set on a local coconut cake. Joy was incredibly responsive and accommodating to our request and said we could pick up a mini cake on Wednesday morning. We looked forward to the cake for days!
After a lovely morning at the beach we set off on foot, following Google Maps navigation. While we weaved through neighborhoods and ascended a long stairway, we had doubts we would end up in the right place. Once the map said we’d arrived, we only saw a residential home. Worried we’d been led astray, we sent Joy a WhatsApp message. Accommodating as ever, she popped out of her sliding glass door with a giant smile and a warm welcome!
She gave us the most adorable coconut cake and even added a happy birthday sign on top!! Our route home was even more circuitous and led us through goat fields and probably someone’s backyard, once we arrived back the cake made it all worth while! Perfect flavor! Perfect texture and consistency! Clearly baked with love.
She might be hard to find, but she’s the best in the biz!

I went by Jaii Bakes while visiting Oistin thinking it was small bakery while it being a cake catering business. Jaii was so kind and generous and offered me a piece of coffee-caramel cake and on the top of that a free piece of strawberry cheesecake !! They were the best I had in Barbados!! I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Jaii !!

Jaii Bakes never disappoints! Joy goes above and beyond in providing excellent service and great quality food. You can truly taste the love in her food, especially the Alfredo! 😋 10/10 Definitely recommend!!

This food was realllly good! I loveeeeeed the fact that the fries were the real peeled potato fries. The taste was amazing with the sweet and savory. The cookies & cream white chocolate gourmet cookies were my favorite!! They were not too sweet, a great size and nice and chewy how I love my cookies. I would definitely order again!

Currently missing Jaii Bakes food and treats due to not being in the island ...hands down the best food and pastries anyone could think of and the service is immaculate. Joy really adds that razzle dazzle and boom shakalaka.
