A restaurant in Barbados on the main stretch of road between bridgetown and oistins. A quiet place that allows one to have a conversation. Had the ribs and they where falling right off the bone good. Started with calamari. Had a couple of green monkeys for a perfect outing.

Nice vibe and friendly staff. Fairly expensive, our garlic bread and wings starter were cold, my New York medium rare steak was really fatty and blue. Had to replace a coca cola as it was just syrup and flat. We were starving and wanted food quickly so came here as other restaurants in the area were only taking reservations but wouldn’t come back unfortunately. Cocktails were good.

First off - service and atmosphere are 5/5 - excellent, but sadly we had to knock the overall rating down to a 3. We ordered the pulled pork sandwhich and we couldn’t eat it, the meat tasted bad. The kind of bad that turns you off meat for a few days. The server brought the manager over and they removed it from our bill (again - service there was a 5/5!) the coconut curry was mediocre. The fresh fries were excellent - and I do share that seriously as sometimes the fries are not worth ordering, but here they are. We wouldn’t go back sadly, and this place was recommended from our driver from the airport as a seafood place but it isn’t.

The food isn't bad, it's average. However, the prices aren't, and compared to other restaurants, the quality isn't worth it. The portions are generous, that's for sure. But the cocktails are terrible. The worst Tom Collins I've ever had.

My workmate and I needed the perfect impromptu end to a busy week and Jake’s was our choice. We were not disappointed at all. Krissy our host was top tier, she made sure all our needs were met and the food was great. kiddos to the chef. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who needs a lunch or dinner get away. We will be back for sure.
