If I could give this place more than five stars, I absolutely would. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by an atmosphere that instantly makes you slow down and enjoy life. The view is simply breathtaking, and there’s something truly magical about the harmony of this place. Time seems to stop.
The service is outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You never feel rushed, only encouraged to relax and enjoy every moment.
The food is fantastic, but the real star for me was the double cheeseburger. Perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor, it’s easily one of the best burgers I’ve had. Pair it with one of their beer buckets, and you’ve got the perfect combination for an unforgettable afternoon.
What I loved most is that this is the kind of place where you can sit all day without ever wanting to leave. Every hour feels better than the last, and the atmosphere keeps drawing you in.
I honestly dream about coming back to Bonaire just to spend another day at this bar. It’s that special.

Karel’s Beach Bar is such a lovely place with an amazing vibe. When I was there, they were playing Latin music, which I absolutely loved and it really added to the atmosphere.
The location is beautiful, right over the water with a great view, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your time in Bonaire’s city center.
I’ve been there three times, so I had the chance to try different things like the cheesecake, iguana soup, and chicken wings with fries. Everything was really good.
The staff is attentive and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
I truly fell in love with this place and will definitely be back 🌴✨🍹🩷

Terrific Atmosphere right by where the cruise ships dock. Huge restaurant with lots of tables and 3 different bars. Service was fantastic and they were very friendly and welcoming. Enjoy the sunset while you sip a cocktail and enjoy your meal.

Heard mixed reviews about this place while doing my research and my vote goes to this place being one of the best places to grab a meal.
I went for breakfast and there wasn't a ship in port, so it was rather empty during my time, but that didn't stop the service and food from being delicious.
Set out over the water, with several different areas to enjoy your drinks and food.

MUST DO while on the main strip, #1 spot for views and food. Variety seating with sun, shade, short and tall seating looping around a beautiful deck out into the water. Food was phenomenal. Service was even better, thanks to Sharon for a wonderful experience and to the warm, fun hosts for a high energy welcome!
