Owner very pleasant. Cooking options ok. Bed is comfortable. You can easily walk to town with Google directions. A few small grocery stores near by. I felt safe as a solo traveler. They have security cameras for safety. Owner drove me in town 1 time. That was nice. Let's get to the "pool". Not really what is considered a pool. You can not catch some rays at this pool. So tiny
..lol. kemp's is great for the amount they charge though. Would i bring a family here? No

A1 apartments were fantastic. Samuel and Stanley made us feel extremely welcome from the first minute. The apartments are centrally located in the downtown area which is away from all the resorts. We loved this because not only do you get to see the luxury side of Aruba, you also get to mingle with the happy friendly locals. The bus station is only a 5 minute walk from the apartments, meaning it was super convenient to get around the beautiful island. The apartments are also next to a supermarket which meant we could make use of the full kitchen in the apartment. In the mornings we enjoyed freshly ground Peruvian coffee from Samuel’s coffee station which was lovely. After our long days at the beach, it was great to be able to unwind back at the refreshing and clean apartment swimming pool. Thank you both Sam and his father Stanley for making our Aruba experience so special.

Stanley and his son were so overly accomodating and wonderful, and really make you feel you at home. They were accomodating from the get-go, even lending me cash to pay for my taxi upon arriving at the hotel. Thank you again, by the way!
The rooms are very decently sized and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The location is a quick stroll into the town center, and there’s a few restaurants close by. Staying here you are far enough away from everything to be quiet and have a a more local experience, but close enough to be very accessible!
Stanley was sick when I came, and still managed to go out of his way to accomodate me. I hope you feel all better now Stanley! Thank you for everything and wishing you and your family all the best.

Samuel and Laura took us out to eat at a local favorite restaurant of theirs .
It was fantastic and very reasonable. As a travel agent we travel a lot and I can honestly say I have not ever been treated this friendly.
Stanley and Ingrid gave us valuable information about Aruba and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed the close vicinity of restaurants, grocery stores and gift shops.
It was our first time on the island and it was our first trip since Covid19 issues.
We would definitely stay here again.

This was by far the BEST experience I have ever had staying with the Kemps. Stanley, his wife, and son were the most hospitable and kindest people I have ever met. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, and not to mention the location was spot on. You are in a safe area, not to mention a very short walk to the downtown. This was my first time travelling to the Caribbean so I was a little nervous. However, the Kemps all went out of their way to ensure I had the best first experience, and boy, did I! Thank you!
