We celebrated our 35th anniversary of being in our sorority and the staff at La Maison Michelle took great care of us. From security to the daily delicious meals our stay at this beautiful property was the highlight of our summer.

La Maison Michelle is an extraordinary destination that exceeds all expectations. The sweeping ocean views are breathtaking, but what truly sets this place apart are the stylish and meticulously maintained suites and rooms. The chef team is phenomenal, crafting meals with care and love that are simply amazing. Michelle Ifill, the owner and proprietor, is the most incredible host. Her Zen-like personality and soothing calmness permeate every corner of the property, enveloping guests in a serene and tranquil atmosphere. Upon arrival, I anticipated a bustling hotel atmosphere, but instead, I/we were welcomed into a relaxing and peaceful setting. Michelle greeted us with a welcoming smile and a refreshing rum punch, making us feel right at home. If you're planning a retreat, family gathering, or friends' getaway, Barbados and La Maison Michelle should be at the top of your list! I would return again and again if I could.

I had the pleasure of attending the Healing, Enlightenment, and Relaxation (HER) Retreat in March 2023 at La Maison Michelle, and all I can say is WOW. The Villa was beautiful with breathtaking views and an amazingly warm staff. Each room was spacious and uniquely designed, which added to the charm. The food… the food… y’all, the food. It was the best I had on the island! Each meal was made with the freshest ingredients and served with deceptively strong rum punches. They even left out late-night snacks. I also stayed at The Crane on this trip and rate La Maison Michelle as the better option. The retreat organizers did a wonderful job coordinating our event with villa staff and made sure retreat attendees received personalized, five-star service from the moment we arrived at the airport. It was an intimate group that added to the overall experience of the retreat. We also were treated to activities that ranged from private catamarans and wellness sessions to personalized photo shoots and a late-night pool party with a DJ and band. I can’t wait for the next retreat and will definitely be booking at La Maison Michelle again.

An exquisite gem, La Maison Michelle is a luxury villa destination for an outstanding retreat, vacation, wedding, family reunion, or setting time for self- care. Michelle and Guy Jenkins and their amazing staff can curate experiences for both corporate groups and individuals based upon their guests' input for facilitated sessions in personal growth, spa appointments, golf excursions, and other options across Barbados. The view from their infinity pool to the Caribbean at sunset is one that you will never forget. The service and warm hospitality will encourage you to return in the future!

Don’t walk, run to book your next large group vacation stay here. The mansion is stunning with so much ample spaces and amenities including an infinity pool and hot tub. The private chef is amazing serving a diverse range of options for every meal. The staff are attentive and kind. The mansion is very clean and the grounds are well kept. The views were amazing too. I would definitely go back and highly recommend.
