Parked over by Savvy on the Bay and walked through. No front or second row chairs so we continued on down the beach. Stumbled upon this hidden gem. The chairs aren’t as new as the other places but we sat right up front, the staff was super friendly, the food was delicious and much quicker than other places (I got a chicken wrap and my friends got the kid tenders). Daily drink specials. (We there there on Saturday 2-for-1 rum punch and honestly the best one we had during our whole trip). Restrooms and showers were 100x better than savvy (we were there the day before).

We had an absolutely amazing snorkeling trip with Lazy Lizard in Carlisle Bay! The beach is stunning, and having access to the loungers made it even more relaxing. The bar and food were great, and the whole place had such a fun and welcoming vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure we had the best time. Thank you, Lazy Lizard, for an unforgettable experience—our group of 14 girls had a blast! Highly recommend!

Excellent adventure just off the beach for the wreck snorkeling. Guided did a great job! Bar was cheap and had great drinks! Good place to spend half a day

I've spent one week in Barbados, on my own and must confess when I left it felt a bit daunting. The bar staff are absolutely amazing, always smiling and friendly. Food is amazing, a great selection of fresh fish dishes, which I absolutely loved. Amazing variety of cocktails, just for you to be brave enough to try- tried their own signature cocktail and that was a statement 😀. Dex was extremely helpful throughout my stay, showed me around the area and even encouraged me to take the boat trip to do snorkelling. That was an amazing experience. I didn't think that is something I would ever do! Highly recommend this to all families with kids. Boat staff very knowledgeable about the island and fun to talk to. The owner is an amazing individual-He's always been around if I needed help with info about the city &property development in the area. If you need any information about Barbados he will be the person to talk to. Liked the business model 😁. Please see attached picture 😆 Overall, I felt safe and secured . This allowed me just to be myself and enjoy my time in Barbados.

Paid $120/person for a 1.5 hour snorkel/shipwreck/turtle tour on a “Funky Bamboo Boat”, 1.5 hour of beach time, and 3 drinks. I will start by saying we chose to make the best of a bad situation and chose happiness. But it was rough. The tour guide advised the bathroom on the boat is out of order so we were delayed by about 20 minutes while people used the restroom before the boat. She also told us at the beginning that if when we got back to this location we didn’t want to leave, she could inform our cruise ship, we could stay, and pay $5 for a taxi back later. The boat itself was lime green with a small glass bottom viewing area where they had us pile out bags so they didn’t get wet. Not funky and not bamboo. Then they let us know they didn’t have enough snorkel gear for everyone, even though some people were staying on the boat and some brought their own gear. I ended up being the person who didn’t get any snorkel gear. They anchored a ways away from the snorkel site and told everyone to swim over to it. One guy came back saying he can’t swim that far and gave me his snorkel gear. But now I needed to catch up with the group. Luckily I’m strong swimmer, but it was still a very hard swim. The shipwreck was pretty cool to see, lots of fish. Then we were told to swim to the next shipwreck site. Nearby, but an exhausting swim while wearing a life vest. And they hadn’t given us flippers citing a safety issue - though other groups had flippers on. Saw the second shipwreck and swam back to the boat. Discovered the stairs are missing so getting back on board was difficult for most and embarrassing for many. Once all aboard, we move a short distance to get back in the water and look for turtles. We did see some turtles, stingrays, and tarpon fish. Back on the boat again to head to the beach for what we thought would be our 90 minutes of relaxation and 3 free drinks. But they only had one free drink ticket for each person and we realized the bus would be leaving back to the ship in 15 minutes. So our option was to give up our beach time and free drinks to head back to the ship, or stay and enjoy the beach and free drinks and pay a taxi to return to the ship. This must happen a lot as they told us this option at the beginning. Would NOT recommend this excursion to anyone and would NOT return to this run down and disorganized tour group.
