The food tour was amazing! We learned a lot about the islands history, passed through a few monumental sites, and ate real good! Everything I had was delicious and that’s coming from a picky eater. Shari was our tour guide and taught us sooo many things. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish we could’ve had at least one extra stop on our tour, but that should tell you how much I enjoyed it. I’ll be booking again when I return!

I absolutely recommend the Lickrish food tour to anyone who visits BIM, especially if you’re a foodie! We did the tour during Crop Over this August. We had Paulette as a guide and she was fantastic. Truly beautiful inside and out. She was so knowledgeable about Bajan culture, which gave the food tour even more texture as we learned about the history of the island as well. She took us to major historical landmarks, taught us the history behind the flag, took us to some of the best hole in the wall spots, and more! Also, shoutout to her for putting our group on to After Shock, which is arguably the best Bajan pepper sauce we tried throughout our time there. It was also nice to walk off the food as we ate around the town 😂 come in comfortable shoes w/ a fan and empty bellies! You’re in for a treat, literally and figuratively 🥰 it was truly one of the highlights of my trip.
PS: I would also recommend having it towards the beginning of your trip! We did and it was a great way to set the tone for our experience.

We really enjoyed the Original Bajan Walking Food Tour. The tour allowed us to taste some delicious Bajan food while also learning the country's history and seeing some of Bridgetown's iconic monuments. (I did a bad job taking pics of the food because I was eager to eat it 🤭 but I took a lot of photos as we walked around.) Our guide Shari was great and made sure the tour was fun for everyone. Definitely make sure you book this tour while visiting Barbados!

This food tour was incredible! Definitely come hungry because these aren’t just "tastings"—every stop served amazing, full-flavored dishes. The guides were knowledgeable, helpful, and their happy personalities made the experience even better. Their eagerness to please really stood out. I highly recommend this tour to everyone!

All right, Likrish food tour—total skip, not worth it. One point five outta five. Worst offender? Main course at Angels/ Angelas inside Oystin’s food stalls, overcooked blue Marlin: cold, unseasoned jerky vibes. Bland salad, zero-spice mac and cheese. Pre-ordered for ten, still served lukewarm to cold. First and last stop nailed it—juicy spiced chicken fajitas and fresh local ice cream. Bakery? Dry crumbly mess. Host was chatty, sweet, but clueless on food recommendations. And right there at Oystin’s Food Stop, other stalls had real grills popping—smoke, spice, sizzling marlin that actually looked alive. Every other vendor’s plate begged to be eaten, while ours sat like punishment. Feels like management just picks pals, not pros. Skip it, wander Oystin’s yourself.
