The first real "supermarket" in Las Galeras, opened in September 2026: quite a symbol!
A variety of national and international products that were previously impossible to find without having to go to Las Terrenas; it's a big change for locals and an undeniable convenience for visitors.
Fresh and frozen vegetables, groceries, personal care items, and household products.
Prices are clearly displayed, and there are several self-service scanning stations. They are reasonable, even cheaper than elsewhere. Credit cards are accepted, which is also a great advantage for everyone, and finally, the opening hours are incredibly long.
In short, nothing but good things!
