My wife and I stayed here 2 nights in Nov of 2023 for our honeymoon and loved it! Views, especially for sunset, are mesmerizing. Having a nice dinner up there with the rum flights was wonderful. Our room was the closest I’ll ever get to a Swiss Family Robison treehouse. My wife loved reading in the hammock. Staff all friendly and easy to chat with. It can be buggy but there are mosquito nets for the beds and, well, it’s an open air treehouse in the jungle, so comes with the territory. See photos for all views!

We stayed at Manicou River Resort for two nights in December 2022 and enjoyed everything about it. The beautifully curated, open room with a spectacular view of the Cabrits National Park, the silence and fresh air, the food (we had both breakfast and dinner for 2 days), the drinks (highly recommend the cucumber basil rum drink!!), and the hospitality of Kayola, our host. She was kind and cordial, and helped us arrange a taxi to our next location and a trip to the close-by Indian river. The property is rather remote but it didn't bother us as we spent all of our time there, roaming through the beautiful gardens, photographing birds or simply sitting on our terrace and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the sunset. It is certainly not the cheapest place to stay in Dominica but we found great value for every dollar we spent. Thank you for making our journey to Dominica unforgetable.

This is an incredible and unique place. The views are absolutely stunning and the rooms are incredibly maintained. The staff provides round the clock help for anything that you need. Typically when we take a trip, the last thing that we want to do is stick around the hotel, but this place makes you want to. Highly recommend

My wife and I stayed at Manicou for our Honeymoon. It was fantastic - the views are incredible, the staff is warm and friendly, and the locally cooked food is top notch. Thank you Manicou for helping us have a relaxing, beautiful, and fun honeymoon!
