While the selection is good and the prices are typical of an island, the people who work there are extremely rude. The cashiers have major attitude. I went to Massey’s 3-4 times during my trip and each time, my experience was the same.

Total customer disrespect at the till. I paid cash and one 20 us bill had a small red mark on it and she threw it back aggressively saying I cannot take this. I politely asked her to scan it. She got even more aggressive and refused. I got the bill from a bank. I like Masseys and in 20 years of going there l have never encountered this.

Whilst the supermarket itself is generally well stocked, at least one member of their checkout staff was certainly not well stocked in good manners. I took a bottle of bubbly off the shelf at 45bbd, but when checking out, I was abruptly told 52bbd. When I challenged it, her response was, and I quote, I have scanned it and you have to pay this price. Well, some people may accept the defeat, given that the express lane I was in had started to grow rapidly, but this girl had chosen the wrong person here, and the battle was on. I won't bore you with the 10 minutes of dispute, but she had to concede when overridden by a superior, who kindly corrected my bill. My message to the girl on the till, in the Holetown store, who's false nails were so long ,she had to hold her hand 6 inches from the screen to tap in the transaction, would be to have some respect. Even if you are having a bad day, deal with the situation with courtesy. I hope the rest of your day went well, and that you didn't annoy too many other customers. I left the store a happy man, in the knowledge that I got a bottle of bubbly for the advertised price. See you soon.😊

The major Supermarket chain on island. With outlets in Warrens, Oistins and here in Holetown. Along with ample parking a Starbucks and a recycling center out back, you can get a wide range of English and North American food brands. Local food is also available. The store is very popular with visitors.

My go to Supermarket when on the west coast...nice and spacious interior from produce section to housewares and everything in between including a bakery and deli.
Fully stocked pharmacy with a personal care items section, ATM'S and Starbucks cafe is located here, ideally located in Holetown with a variety of amenities abound including beach access, restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, banks etc.
This supermarket is clean and comfortable during shopping with personal cashiers and newly installed self checkouts..be mindful though that this brand of supermarket is on the pricey side, ample parking lot space with an EV charging station...along with a taxi depot onsite.
