Reggie is a gem. We really enjoyed talking to him and hearing him explain his process and his passion for mahogany. I love that there are beautiful pieces at a range of prices, and I particularly treasure the gorgeous Concorde model I purchased here. Highly recommend.

Awesome mahogany root sculptures! Medford is an amazing artist and the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. Each of his pieces carry unique character and beauty. Exceptional craftsmanship! You have to visit his shop if you’re in Barbados.

Visited this shop with friends who had bought a piece 10 years ago and were keen to return. I would not classify this as a souvenir store. More of an art gallery. Proprietor is a friendly, intelligent and informative guy who knows his art speaks for itself. A range of sizes and price points and we came home with a lovely, and reasonably priced piece of art.

We were so lucky to come across this shop. A cab driver pointed us in the right direction. I called to find out that they were in the process of closing, but would stay open if we wanted to come. 20 minutes later we pulled up and were greeted by Mr. Medford himself. What a treat!! He took us on a tour wood yard, work shop and showroom. I was so impressed not only by the craftsmanship in the wood carvings, but in the pride Mr. Medford had in creating them. Truly a hidden gem on the island. If you are looking for some beautiful crafted wood, I would highly recommend!!!

Amazing experience! Reggie, the owner and artist, came right out to greet us when we pulled in. We got to learn about his past and how he started his business. We then got a tour of his entire workshop. The sculptures are so fantastic and the fact that we know who and where they came from and that they are all handcrafted, one of a kind, really made it that much more special. Thank you Reggie!
