Really cool observation place directly facing the Volcano. There's so much to learn from this place its incredible. The short video also shows the dramatic footage that lead to Plymouth being buried under the ashes.

Visited on an excursion from our cruise. Saw the very insightful and interesting documentary detailing the volcanic events starting in 1995 and leading to the destruction of Plymouth. Worth it. However the movie is about all there is here and the room can be pretty cramped for tour groups.

Our group of six visited last Friday and watched the documentary. We were on an island tour with Fabulous Tours. Breath taking views of the volcano and Plymouth. Visiting the modern day Pompeii was also an emotional experience. 10/10 definitely make this a part of your visit to Montserrat 🇲🇸.

Really interesting to learn about the history of Montserrat and the volcano. The videos and images are fascinating. Ask the staff for recommendations on tours to Plymouth.

A site to behold. This is a place of education and learning how the peoples lives of the island of Montserrat were forever changed. The road to the observatory is a slight challenge to navigate but it is well worth it. Make a purchase of a book or two to help fund the observatory as you will get a better understanding of again how the volcano changed the island and its people.
