Top notch surf instructions and excellent communications. My family of 4 did an afternoon lesson with Jason and had a blast! All of us got up and caught multiple waves with Jason's keen tips. Jason was patient, kind, and funny, taking the time to make sure all four of us were adapting and improving after each ride.
We communicated in WhatsApp and they were very responsive, clear, and kind in their messages. They even loaned us rash guard shirts! No complaints. Well, we all wished for more good waves, so perhaps we needed to do a wave dance before starting. I'm sure dancing would have brought the waves (jk). Go with Mystic, you will not regret it.

I would give Mystic Gypsy 100 stars if I could. We were given the best surf lesson - brought to Freights Bay and finally fixed my pop up after having bad habits for so many years. With Jason’s instruction we were able to catch a lot of green waves by ourselves and turn - something I had been struggling to accomplish. Some days we just rented without a lesson but we were still given a few pointers to help us learn the next skill.
Jason went out of his way to meet our available timing and went well beyond expectations when he came to the beach during a rental to take pictures for us.
Also, Jason and Sara have such a cute shop - we bought so many things.

I rented a surf board from Mystic Gypsy for 5 weeks. The service offered by Sarah and Jason was the best. They delivered and collected the board to and from my home address at a time and date that suited me.
I chose the SUNS Luna, 9ft 2, and fell in love with it. Brand new, light and responsive, had a fantastic time catching loads of clean summer peelers at Freights and steeper faster waves at Brandon's.
The quality of the service and equipment first class.
Also visited sister company Paddie Barbados at Pebble Beach and rented SUPs with a friend for a day and had a blast!
Highly recommend. Don't go anywhere else.

My first surfing experience with Jason was amazing! I was really impressed with his teaching style and how attentive he was throughout the lesson. He pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way and was incredibly encouraging and supportive the whole time. When I’m back in Barbados, I would absolutely book another lesson with him. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience! 🤩 Jason is a very passionate and skilled teacher, and Sarah is extremely responsive and always does everything to accommodate surf sessions. The shop is lovely, with a great selection of beachwear and souvenirs. Hope to be back soon 🥰
