Amazing Workshops, Beautiful Plants & Incredible Café Nature Care in Barbados is truly one of my favorite places. They have an amazing assortment of plants, and the staff genuinely wants to help you find the right plant for your space. Whether you’re new to plants or very experienced, they take the time to guide you and make sure you succeed. They also carry everything you need — soil, fertilizer, pots, and all other planting supplies. What really makes Nature Care special, though, are the plant workshops. I attended the Kokedama (Kodomo) Workshop, and it was such a wonderful experience. The workshop is led by Crystal, who is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, patient, and truly passionate about plants. She explains everything clearly, helps each person individually, and makes sure you leave feeling confident about caring for your plant. You don’t just make something beautiful — you actually learn how to keep it alive and thriving. I haven’t attended the Succulent Workshop yet, but I definitely plan to. After seeing how well the Kokedama workshop was run, I know it will be just as great. On top of that, they now have a café called Fig Café, which is absolutely delicious. The food is superb and incredibly fresh, using ingredients like duck eggs and goat’s milk from their own farm, which makes the whole experience even more special. Nature Care is more than just a garden center — it’s a place to learn, create, and enjoy. I highly recommend their workshops and the entire experience to anyone in Barbados who loves plants or wants to start their plant journey.

Nature care is one of the larger plant nurseries on the island. They sell both imported and local plants here as well as fruit trees and seedlings. Ornamentals like orchids can be found year round as well as cacti herbs and succulents. There is also a wide selection of plant pots tools and potting mix available as well as insectcides and fertilizers. There is a restaurant on the premises which currently offers free range duck eggs on the menu as well as sandwiches and salads. The premises are wheel chair accessible. If you are a plant lover you will enjoy visiting this nursery.

Nature Care is my Go-To nursery for exotic and imported plants. They usually have fresh shipments every 2 weeks so I'm always sure to find something nice and exciting. You can also pick up your potting mixes, decorative pots, plant stakes, pesticides, fertilisers etc.BUT there's also a cafe and a gazebo out back where you could just relax and feed the fish and turtles. Truly a breath of fresh air.
