A very fun historical site to visit rich in the islands history. It is fun for all ages to enjoy. And if you're up for a decent hike you can Hike The Ruins which is extremely beautiful and offers beautiful views of the Bay. The bay is also good for snorkeling and seeing Sea Turtles. Quiet in the off season.

Well worth a visit. Make sure to walk out to the ruins. If you go on a Thursday or Sunday, you can use your combined ticket to go the Shirley Heights party! Go early too, so it won’t be as hot while exploring. There is a shop by the start that sells drinks and ice creams. There are also lots of great souvenirs on the way out.

Definitely worth a visit. Beautiful location and interesting history as Lord Nelson was stationed here in the late 1700s. There's a good museum and a lovely restaurant to visit serving great food and a variety of drinks including cocktails. I think there were also other bars. There are some little shops and when we visited a good local market selling clothing, gifts etc at what looked good prices. We saw a great selection of boats including some tall ships. We spent a lovely relaxing afternoon here, enjoyed a nice meal with cocktails....what's not to like!!! Definitely worth a visit.

This is a nice little place to visit whilst in Antigua. The museum inside is great - if you go upstairs you can really dig into the history of the enslaved people. The ticket here also grants you entry into other sites within the same day such as Shirley’s so definitely plan your day! The restaurant is expensive but the bakery has very nice home made snacks. All the workers here are very friendly and every single one said hello as they went by. You need about 1-2 hours to walk around but no more than that.

Nelson’s Dockyard is a charming and atmospheric place that is definitely worth visiting while on the island. The dockyard has been carefully preserved and restored, and you can really feel the spirit of the 19th century while walking around. The historic buildings, stone pathways, and marina views create a very authentic setting. It’s simply a beautiful place to stroll, take photos, and enjoy the surroundings. There are also small shops, bakeries, a restaurant, and even a boutique hotel within the area, which adds to the overall experience. It’s not a place where you’ll spend an entire day, as the территория is quite compact, but for a relaxed walk and a bit of exploration, it works perfectly. One thing to keep in mind: if you’re not a resident, there is an entrance fee of around $15 USD per adult. Overall, it’s a picturesque and atmospheric spot — not very large, but definitely worth stopping by for a couple of hours.
