We were a group of 7 people celebrating birthdays and the staff was welcoming and friendly around the entire resort. Jill at the front desk, Shaquille the bartender, Jakobi, Yvette and Kevin were some of the best that I met. The interaction with our group and recommendations for food/drink selections, excursions and island suggestions was helpful. We stayed in the Sunset building and the views were amazing. Housekeeping kept the mini fridge stocked and room clean. The AC was hard to regulate and the bathroom sink design was less than ideal which caused water to flow on the countertop. However the positive experience far outweighed a few design issues. Overall experience was wonderful and I would definitely return

Our stay at O2 Beach Club & Spa in Barbados was nothing short of incredible, and it exceeded every expectation we had for our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel is something special—not just because of the stunning property, but because of the people who work there. The hotel itself is beautiful. The views are breathtaking, the beach is absolutely stunning with soft white sand and crystal-clear water, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed yet luxurious. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was spacious, stylish, and spotlessly clean. Waking up each morning to those views felt like a dream. The food and drink options were also fantastic. There is such a great variety of restaurants and dishes available that you’re always excited for the next meal. The cocktails were equally impressive—whatever you fancy, the bar team can make it. However, what truly makes this hotel exceptional is the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making our stay unforgettable. They go far beyond normal service—they take the time to get to know you and really enhance your whole experience. Every day we were greeted with smiles and friendly conversations, and it created such a special atmosphere. There are a few team members we’d particularly love to mention: - Kerry Ann – spoke to us every day she was working. She was so friendly and welcoming, and as a fellow Abbie we had lots of laughs together. - Omorian – our waiter for most evenings. What a guy! Great sense of humour, incredibly friendly, and always made dinner even more enjoyable. - Leilini (Lily) – our waitress both nights in Oro. She was absolutely lovely, super friendly, and made our dining experience there really special. - Elissa – after Rhys had one too many cocktails, she kindly rustled up a special drink to help cure his hangover! She always made an effort to chat with us and was such a pleasure to see each day. - Aeron – the towel legend! Such a lovely bloke who works incredibly hard and always took the time to chat and get to know us. - Richard – equally friendly and hardworking, and always greeting us with a smile. - Shak – can make absolutely any cocktail you ask for. An amazing bartender! - Junior – deserves a special mention. I told him the only alcohol I don’t like is gin, so he created a “Gin-Junior” for us… and somehow completely changed my mind. Such a lovely guy and a brilliant bartender. ⁃ Nickoli – such a friendly, welcoming man who made us feel at home straight away. Hostess – short hair (so sorry I cannot remember your name). Thank you as well for the ginger and lemon tea to help repair Rhys! We really appreciated it, and thank you for always being so friendly. Anika – front of house reception – for going above and beyond and helping to make our honeymoon so special. Your kindness and attention to detail truly made a difference to our stay. We wish we could mention every single member of staff because they all work incredibly hard and truly make the experience at this hotel what it is. From the bar staff to the waiting team, the beach crew, the bellmen, and the housekeeping team—everyone greets you, everyone is friendly, and everyone makes an effort to get to know you. The maids were also wonderful, always so kind and cheerful whenever we saw them. The staff here are an absolute credit to the hotel and are what make O2 Beach Club so special. Barbados will always have our hearts. Thank you to everyone at O2 Beach Club for making our honeymoon unforgettable and for going above and beyond in every way. We cannot wait to come back. Had an EXCELLENT time at O2. Celebrated my birthday here and I was not disappointed. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. I do believe we were visiting during a slow time but the service was great. Breakfast was very good, would have liked more dinner options but still great. It did take a while to get to the town, however if you are wanting a relaxing stay you will not need to leave the resort. Would definitely return - did not want to leave.

I had the pleasure of visiting the peaceful Island of Barbados and the opportunity to stay at this resort. The staff were warm and welcoming upon my arrival! The resort has 4 restaurants which I highly recommend making reservations prior to your arrival because they become booked fast especially on the weekends! My room was like a one bedroom apartment with a huge shower and excellent views of the ocean. Like numerous resorts in the Caribbean, people reserve the lounge chairs extra early and disappear for 3-4 hours leaving other guests without the ability to enjoy the pool or ocean in a lounge chair! The staff will try their best to find you an unoccupied spot but I wish people were more considerate! The beach has strong waves and is somewhat rocky as you venture further from shore but you can enjoy it probably up to your knees depending on your height! Breakfast is only served until 10am, so if you want to enjoy it , no sleeping in. The food was tasty and provided some local cuisine. The nightly entertainment was enjoyable. The greatest strength of this resort is quietness and tranquility. By 10pm every night including weekends it was a ghost town. If you’re looking to party hearty this resort isn’t for you but if you want to chill book your stay!

We recently stayed at this resort in Barbados, and overall the experience was just okay. The resort itself was fine, and the food was decent, but unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the lack of entertainment. For a resort, the entertainment options were extremely limited and quite boring. Every evening at 9:00 PM, the only activity was the same setup—two people singing slow, unengaging songs that you couldn’t dance to. There were no shows, no live performances, no disco, no variety at all. By 9:00 PM, there was simply nothing to do, and it felt unusually quiet for a resort atmosphere. The resort is advertised as family-friendly, but this really needs to be reconsidered. There was absolutely nothing entertaining for kids. There are only two swimming pools—one for adults and one for children—and the kids’ pool is very small. That was the only activity available for children. We saw many kids at the resort, and most of them looked bored and unhappy. Overall, the resort has potential, but it seriously needs to invest in better entertainment—for both adults and children. Adding shows, music with energy, kids’ activities, and family-friendly programs would make a huge difference and greatly improve the guest experience.
