It's a really nice beach, especially considering it's public. The beach area is shorter and has some rocks, but that doesn't affect swimming. The sea temperature is perfect, it's not deep or dangerous, so you can enjoy yourself there. There are tables with shade, and it's a safe place to be.

It's wonderful to walk with family and friends along the Caracasbaai promenade, enjoying its beautiful ocean views and cool climate. There's a hot dog stand and a restaurant for those who want to eat. Public parking is available, and the beach is very clean with public restrooms. You can bring your pet along, as it's a great place for exercise. There are also docks with boats departing for Klein Curaçao. Don't miss this lovely spot!

(No. 041) Caracas Bay was one of the last beaches I visited in Curaçao. I went at night and regret not taking good pictures. Along with Playa Parasasa, it's the most popular with locals. Because it's right next to the road, this beach is open 24 hours a day and is the only part of Curaçao I saw completely unlit. Apparently, people like it that way, and perhaps that's its biggest draw. I noticed everyone parks along the side of the road, plays some music, and hangs out with friends. I wished I could go back during the day. It's right in front of an oil processing plant.
