Went the first day but they weren’t accepting walk-ins as it’s reservation only, so we were asked to come back the next day. Reserved via WhatsApp - very responsive. The place felt a bit strange overall since it’s basically run by the owner alone: he was cooking, taking orders, and cleaning. We asked for the menu on WhatsApp beforehand and were told only chicken or ribs were available, with no prices mentioned. The chicken curry with coconut milk and rice was just ok! There was also an unexpected 10% service charge, which I later saw mentioned in another Google review as well. Drinks weren’t good either (the owner was giving instructions to a child in preparing it - who was helping him out there) - I even found a small ant in mine but was too tired to make an issue of it. There was a fluffy dog roaming around and three kids playing, cycling, and helping clear plates, which made it feel more like a strange home setup than a restaurant!! Paid 146 XCD for two chicken plates and drinks, which felt extremely expensive for what we got. Overall a very mixed experience - consider before going.

My wife and I are self-professed foodies. We discovered that we had both put Poz on our must eat list at separate times, so it was a no-brainer that one of our first Dominican dinners in Calibishie would be here. Poz was so easy to communicate with via Whatsapp, and he was there to greet us and chat that first night; Fluffy was the chef/bartender that evening. My wife , younger son, and myself started with the coconut shrimp appetizer. I am not typically a coconut fan and was a bit hesitant, but YUM-divine!! Not a single crumb was left. The older, super picky son devoured chicken wings. Everything was delicious! Our non- complimentary teen son had the "best pork chops of [his] life!" I enjoyed the fresh river crayfish (shrimp), my wife had a delectable coconut-curry shrimp, and our younger son went with a juicy burger. We have an unwritten rule that we never visit the same restaurant twice on vacation because we want to experience new places, but we came back the very next morning for Poz's Hungry Man's breakfast, which was superb. Upon finding out Poz would have fresh octopus delivered that afternoon, we came back a third time for dinner! Poz himself was the chef again after chatting a bit with us. We had a savory smoked oyster appetizer, then tender octopus two different ways. The picky son enjoyed more pork chops, and the adventurous son wolfed down his non-adventurous but delicious chicken alfredo. Aside from the amazing food and beautiful grounds, one of the best things was chatting with Poz. He is originally from Canada, but has lived in Dominica for over 14 years if memory serves me correctly. He has a great sense of humor, loves being around people, and we truly enjoyed every moment with him. Do yourself a favor...you cannot miss out on going here!! Oh, and the rum punch was excellent-it tasted just like a creamsicle!

Phenomenal experience. I had tried for 12 days to get some fresh local lobster. Despite it being on the menu almost everywhere we just couldn’t find it. Then I read about POZ. I sent him a text and he responded immediately letting me know when the fresh lobster would arrive and we set up a reservation. A few hours before our reservation POZ let us know the lobster didn’t show up and recommended another local dinner spot. I really appreciated that. Didn’t give us the run around, no BS excuses, just an honest heads up and we rescheduled. His recommendation was excellent as well. Next day comes and again, a few hours before our new reservation he texted us this time to let us know our fresh lobster was just delivered. We arrived to an intimate, quaint and cozy setup. We had the entire place to ourselves. My 8 yr old son enjoyed the pool while my wife and I enjoyed conch fritters, conch chowder, fresh lobster, salad, rice, rum punch and bush rum. Entire feast was planned by POZ and Deny. Great service, drinks and conversation from Deny. POZ was hard at work cooking our food that was ready when we got there. He was sure to greet and welcome us from the kitchen. The whole night was awesome. Probably a little more then I would’ve spent if I had ordered off a menu but at the end of the day it was entirely worth it. We definitely felt the love! POZ is selling the business after 15 yrs to chase his next endeavor. I’m glad we got to experience Dominica, POZ and Deny before the big changes come to this beautiful paradise island. If you’re looking for a ready made business with a stellar reputation I’d suggest you look into this opportunity. The have built something special. Thanks again for everything guys! If we don’t make it back for Pizza and Wings, I hope we stay in touch and cross paths on the next adventure ✌🏼

Look no further for the best food & drinks in Dominica! Poz's welcoming spirit immediately puts you at ease and Fluffy knows exactly how to make someone feel at home and well looked after. Poz was kind enough to open especially for lunch due to our schedule and it felt like we were eating in a private oasis. He also has the freshest lobster on the island. We even ran into trouble with a cancelled flight and Poz seamlessly arranged everything without a second thought. He genuinely loves what he does and it comes through in the food and the experience.

Walked by the Restaurant on our first day in Dominica and in Calibishie. The door was closed, we knocked, and Mr. PoZ let us in and chatted with us for a while as if we had known him for years (in a very inviting and welcoming way). He provided some local day trip ideas and his WhatsApp number to confirm a reservation for dinner another day. Note: Reservation only. We ate at the restaraunt on our second night and had conch fritters as an appetizer and lobster for the entree, for drinks we had PoZ's special Rum Punch. We stayed in Dominica for 15 days and PoZ's meal was by far the best quality of the many places we tried. The bartender was also extremely friendly, singing along with the music on the speaker. The location is tucked away but very enjoyable. It was a short walk from the villa we stayed at.
