The place didn't match the photos on Expedia. The apartment was in a sort of basement, so the small bedroom window looked out onto a wall. Everything was old-fashioned, especially the shower and the electrical outlets. The owner, whom we spoke to on the phone, was really unpleasant. We left after one night out of the four we paid for, and we wish him a lot of plastic with our money. There were no towels in the bathroom; we had to ask for them repeatedly. The only positive point: everything was clean.

Booked for a short getaway in northern Martinique. Pleasant welcome and easy access.
Quiet surroundings and spacious accommodation at a fairly affordable price. The pool was a welcome treat after hiking. Very convenient location for exploring the north.

Catastrophic welcome. Avoid at all costs!!!!
Upon arrival, the concierge refused to give us the keys even though the apartment was booked. As soon as she learned there were more than six of us, she completely denied us access, claiming they weren't aware of the reservation.
We contacted the owner: extremely unpleasant on the phone, even blocking us, making any contact impossible. The broker was also unreachable, his phone switched off.
Despite our politeness, the concierge was cold, unpleasant, and dismissive. We had to wait outside in the rain from 6:00 PM until 9:40 PM. The owner even threatened to call the police when we were simply trying to find a solution.
On top of that, the building has no cell service whatsoever.
A complete lack of professionalism, a terrible welcome, an experience to absolutely avoid.

Quiet surroundings, views of nature (trees, river). A secluded location, therefore peaceful.
The air conditioning was a welcome feature.
We received a very warm welcome from the person who gave us the keys.
However, every day, wood chips from the ceiling fell onto the sofa, furniture, and floor. The bathroom and kitchen tiles were not cleaned. The same was true for the refrigerator and microwave. The pool was not cleaned frequently (sand, leaves).
The bed frame, shower door, and oven were patched up.
The bath mats were worn.
Cleanliness was clearly lacking!
Our stay felt disconnected due to limited internet access.
We informed the owner of these issues.
This property could be renovated as it has potential!
