Royal Islander Club Resort La Terrasse

Absolutely love it! 💕 We stayed at Royal Islander Club La Plage in August 2025 and Royal Islander Club La Terrasse in late May 2026. The overall ambiance, rooms and staff are amazing, especially Ms. Nina and her staff, who goes above and beyond for her clients and their family. La Terrasse is an amazing resort with a beautiful botanical garden, a pool, awesome close up view of incoming airplanes at the Princess Juilianna Airport and easy acces to Maho Bay beach. I love that Maho village conveniently offers a variety of restaurants and shopping all within a few steps from the resort. A truly wonderful experience for the whole family. 100% recommend!!!💫

We just spent a week in a 1 bedroom on the 4th floor. The room was nice and it had a wonderful balcony to view the action at the pool and the airport. The first few days the jets were interesting but after day three we were living on the runway. Jet fuel smell was strong all day at the pool and there is no beach at this hotel / Timeshare. Chairs were limited at the pool and the front desk closes at 5 opens at 9. We could not find the laundry area . There is no spa. There are alot of good restaurants nearby.

Great location in Maho Beach. Accomadations are nice. Able to get to restaurant strips, Simpson Bay and French side easily. They give you a parking pass so we got a rental. We stayed as AirBnB, but I'm actually looking to buy as investment property

While you think they are sister resorts, they are really golden sister vs step sister. We thought we could use facilities at both. Wrong. You can go to the beach at La Plage, but need to get there earlier enough to get an umbrella with lounges. Not allowed to stay on the upper deck because it's consider pool area and La Terrasse vacationers are not allowed there because we have our own pool. With about 10 umbrellas and about 30 lounge.chairs. so basically if you stay at La Terrasse you are treated as second class at a so called 4 Star resort. Nobody offered a solution for where to go when there is no place to go.

The hotel is a couple minutes walk from Maho Beach, where the planes fly over. Overall, it's a great place to stay, in.a good location, and clean. The only real downside was finding where to park to check in, and the parking garage. When you arrive to check in, coming from the airport, go into the round about an make a right,. You'll see some shops on the right (ice cream shop, jeweler) - just past that is an area to pull in that has no parking signs. Don't park on the street, but rather pull in there. They have a guard that will watch the car while you check in. The parking garage is the one thing that was honestly off putting about this hotel. The parking is very tight, and set up with two parring spaces then a pole between those and the next two spaces. It's a very tight fit, and I had the car so close to the pole that there was no way to squeeze between the two (you still have room to walk out in front of the car) but I still got a notice on my car that I was not parked close enough for a second car to fit and if I did it again, I'd loose my parking privileges.
