Wellllll. The plated food looks fab until ya got a bitter bite of the sprouts they placed on top. First time to try barracuda which honestly tasted like overcooked grouper. And one photo on line looked the piece was going to be as big as the plate and well you can see it’s just meh. The stew which I can’t remember the name was good but nothing noteworthy as far as flavor. Typical resort food. Not the best for the price and not the worst for the price. It was edible and we were tired and hungry and did not want to venture off anywhere. Now the ribeye was pretty big and that was probably the best fish of all. The sprouts though - shouldn’t even be used as a garnish. Blah. Immediately swiped off the top. Bitter. The corn fritter things on top of the stew was decent. Nothing spectacular. But good enough. We had good service. And that was a blessing. So there’s that! Good but not good enough to go out of my way to come back (unless you just don’t want to drive).

I cannot understand the negative reviews... I guess it depends when you visit them. I was there at 5p.m.and was the only customer. I got the salmon, blue cheese, spinach pizza and it was delicious! I didn't have to wait long. The view is very nice, across the water at Klein Bonaire.

If you are looking for a nice place to eat (lunch) with a beautiful view over the sea then don’t go looking too far. The service was top notch, the food even better but maybe a bit too much portion-wise and the cocktail “rum runner” to die for.

We went to Rum Runners for the All you can eat BBQ night for my husband. Since I don't eat meat, they offered me a pizza from the regular menu, which was much appreciated. The service was great, but the ambiance, not so much. The local band was struggling, and the crowd was too loud. My dessert was absolutely outstanding though (I had the mango tart), and the magnificent sunset made up for the rest. But if you are looking for a memorable meal and amazing food, overall, that is not the place. It's quite expensive too.

To keep it short and simple: just amazing! Not so short version: the food was absolutely amazing. We both had the Burger Basket and it was absolutely delicious! The portion was great for a good price. And the view is stunning. Huge fish in the waters below, stunning sunset and really friendly staff. We are certainly returning here during our stay!
