We were in Curacao for the second time last week and stopped in this store to purchase some beer. Prices are high, store not clean, and the Asian lady at the checkout counter only spoke what I'm assuming was Chinese and she was not friendly. She had to point to the calculator after I said I was using US dollars which is readily accepted on the island. She then gave me my change in guilders which isn't the problem. The problem was that the change she gave me wasn't even close to what was owed. I left and checked my currency conversion app and confirmed I had been ripped off. The amount she gave me was way off. I went back in to explain that she had shorted me but that was a losing battle. I'm not sure she even understood what I was saying. She just pointed to the calculator again. I left but will not return to this store. There are much better options on that same road. Follow the locals, they know where to shop.

Low prices, great assortment, costumer friendly! Less than 10 minutes from the Air Port,
On the route to great beaches and apartments!

The lady told my friend that the exchange rate for the US dollar is 1.72 (which is what other stores gave us). When i got home and checked the bill she had given me 1.64… how petty…

Good selection of hardware. Wines and health care is 25pct more here then driving closer to Centrum. Small shop here....big shop Centrum
