Food was great but service is extremely slow. The restaurant wasn't busy at all just a few tablets and customers. But food took over 40 minutes to come to our table. Which was annoying. But food was good and can see the sea in front of you.

Visited Sand Street Bistro yesterday. Food took an eternity to come. They offered crisp to apologise for the wait. Had to repeatedly ask for water. When the food finally arrived we ordered more drinks and asked for a single spoon. After a 20min wait we got the spoon ourselves. What made it worse is the young waiter came over and started shouting and arguing. It was such an aggressive exchange. I’ve never experienced such poor service anywhere globally and we have travelled extensively. This young man needs training before being exposed to customers. The manager, Shanice tried to smooth the confrontation which she witnessed and did a good job to save the siuation but I cannot recommend sadly. We will be telling others to choose elsewhere in Barbados where service is paramount.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. The location is also fantastic with the sunset views. While we truly enjoyed everything, I was a bit surprised to see that the chicken Alfredo pasta was priced at $67 ($49 for pasta + $18 add chicken) especially considering that some of the heartier menu items like ribs and burgers were significantly less. That said, we genuinely loved our visit and would absolutely come back again. Just something to keep in mind for the future — everything else was top-notch!

The food as always is fantastic but the service was really not up to standards. It took a full 20 minutes to get the 8 drinks we ordered, i timed it!!!. In fact the starters appeared before our drinks arrived and the order for food was placed after the drinks order. To pay the bill i had to go to the bar as no one would come to the table. Honestly the kitchen staff are being let down by the front of house experience, i visit the island on a regular basis and would probably not visit again which is a shame as we enjoy the food.

Wonderful place! Great service, amazing atmosphere and beautiful setting. Most importantly, the food was superb. Not just superb, but actually a couple of levels higher than that. The catch of the day quite likely the best fish I’ve ever had, and we live on a pristine spring fed lake in Canada and know what good fish is. My wife had the fish sandwich, and absolutely loved it. There is no doubt that we will be back as we can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and setting. If you are in Barbados, you are missing out if you don’t eat here at least once. Very highly recommended.
