The ambience was very nice — a really pretty restaurant to start with, and the staff were attentive and friendly. My chicken loaded fries were lovely, with just the right amount of sauce and plenty of chicken pieces, which I really enjoyed.
However, there are a few areas that could be improved. We were told the tap water was discolored, so we had to purchase bottled water instead. At $5 for a small 250ml bottle, this felt unreasonable, especially since we needed more than one bottle just to fill our glasses.
The Penne Pasta also wasn’t up to standard. It would have been much better if the sauce had more of a creamy, cheesy flavor. It also looked very bland and unappetising.
Also, i ordered the Samosa appetiser however after a while of waiting, the staff told me that they only had 4 and not 5 which was strange! I was offered the veg option and was given an extra piece which was nice, however it wasn't what I wanted.
The Samosa were nice in flavour and hot.
Overall, it was a nice evening, but with a few improvements, the experience could be much better.
To the Owner: you have a beautiful place, a lot of thought has gone into creating this gorgeous restaurant. Please take your customers views on board especially the small issues which can be addressed to make this a wonderful experience.
We shall definitely be back to enjoy a meal.

It was a lovely new experience! The ambience is relaxing, decor is very classy, the staff were friendly and efficient.
The food was excellent- I had the vegetarian summer special:
Lentil and carrot soup
Thai green curry
And a complimentary glass of rosé wine😊
I highly recommend it and will be back for sure!

This was my second time there. The ambience is beautiful and welcoming and the staff was accommmodating to requests during service.
The first experience was good and the second poor. This time the wait time for our food was more than an hour and when it finally arrived was extremely disappointing and lukewarm to cold. The fish platters were served in a rounded bowl and were unattractively plated. Furthermore, the rice was bland and contained burnt parts. The wings while flavourful were overcooked which meant they were hard to cut and digest. But the portion sizes were good but inconsistent across tables. As the table beside me had the same dish as me and her portion was considerably larger.
One of the major problems is the number of persons working front of house, which were only two. This meant service was inefficient and harried. This is unacceptable as the bartender also had to wait tables. However, she made perfect drinks.
Additionally, you should not serve the ordered dessert as a 'birthday plate'. You either provide it as an extra service or not, paid or complimentary. Furthermore, it appears as the orders are not kept track off as part of my order was sold, eventhough it was ordered with the entree. Moreover, you must ensure that cutlery on the table are the same and that orders which are the same are plated the same.
I would therefore suggests training of staff, staff meeting before service to determine how dishes will be plated etc. and a rota completed according to number of covers (this determines the number of persons working). 'The Theory of Catering' is a good book to read to assist with improving the service.

I would have shared a review on Sawubona a few months ago when I received disappointing service including almost bare chicken tacos.
However, the owner reached out and gave me complimentary tacos which were really good and I give them a 10/10, as they were the very first time I had them.
When I wrote my initial review I was really disappointed because I am gluten free and I thought I found a good spot. However, I am happy that they tried to rectify the issue and that is commendable.
I am happy to say that I received the tacos I should have gotten that one time and they were absolutely DELICIOUS. I will definitely be back.

We found the food to be inedible. Rarely do I leave a review like this one but what we received was terrible.
ETA: Since the owner asked for more clarification about our experience I wanted to edit my review to add the following details.
We ordered food from FoodDrop, a very reliable delivery service that this restaurant is listed on. The order was delivered in a timely fashion and the food was hot.
The issue is the food itself. It was inedible. The chips were basically raw, the chicken was overcooked, and the hummus resembled soup. I could barely get it to stay on the 6 chips that were provided with the side.
Needless to say I do not recommend this restaurant.
