Reve de la Mer- Ocean Front Bliss- 100 out of 10!! It is the night before I conclude a two- week stay at Rev de La mer. It is bittersweet because I have never experienced such a wonderful stay in any VRBO but SADLY I cannot stay forever. All of the things that make a stay at Rev de La Mer an incredible experience, begin before you arrive on property. Your host, Anna, is the epitome of a premier VRBO host. From the first time I reached out to her to express my interest in the condo, to this evening, my final as I prepare to leave, her dedication and attention to every single detail has never wavered. If I could give her a 25 for being the quintessential host, I would do that! There was no request too big or too small that Ana did not personally oversee and with lightning speed! You can tell that she really wants her guest to have an above and beyond experience, and there’s nothing that she hasn’t shown herself willing to do to make that happen! She even ordered the same day delivery for two brand new luxury chaise lounges so that I could enjoy myself and the incredible view! Allow me to express all the things about the condo that will leave you feeling as if you have stepped into paradise. The view from the balcony is just like all the pictures that are shown in the app - but 100 times better. I know vacations are supposed to be the time that you sleep in, but I found myself waking up every morning just to see the sunrise as it kissed the tops of the hills of Saint Barts! The condo is well appointed with a spacious interior and all of the comforts that you need to relax, unwind, and yes, even do your laundry! If you want to watch TV, there is no shortage of stations that are ready for you to watch on the TV that seems like it’s cinema size! This gated building is quiet and if you decide you don’t want to look at the view from your balcony, you can go down to the beautifully manicured swimming pool and have a closer look at the ocean heading over to Saint Bart! This review will not do justice to the incredible experience that I’ve at Rev de La mer, because you have to experience it for yourself. It is conveniently located close to Philipsburg, Bobby’s Marina and only 20 -30 minutes from Orient Bay. If you want to go to St Barts the marina is 5 minutes away I’ve been visiting st. Martin, staying on the Dutch and the French side, and it doesn’t get any better than this! Anna is full of useful and extremely helpful information. There were a couple small hiccups, which she handled and even made arrangements to offset my specific needs. You will need a car (if you ever decide to leave the unit), but you have your own dedicated parking space, and again, the building is gated for security. Come and let yourself be lulled to sleep by the sound of the crashing waves and the hypnotic ocean or the chirps of the birds in the trees as they sing their sweet songs. Rev de La Mer is more than a name. It’s an experience!! I’m already planning my return trip. It’s nice to already know where I’ll be staying on my next visit! Thank you, Anna!!
