Silver Sands Beach

Not what we expected, sea was refreshing & lovely, Recreational park reminds me of Farley Hill-seating, Children's play area, washroom facilities.

Silver Rocky Beach ( surfers beach)! Lovely beach for surfers or kiters, or to have a family lunch, but not for sunbathing as is too windy. Is not very accurate on the google maps. It does show on google maps that Silver Sands Beach is just next to Silver Rocky Beach however Silver Sand beach is states on the board when you arrive to car park. Also be aware what states google maps as a Silver Sand Beach is just abandoned resort not much scenery and is not much sand. Hope it helps

Nice beach. Really rough with nice waves. Many windsurfers and kiters are around.

Pros: great beach with great sand and waves Cons: the dilapidated rusty-nail eyesore that is Silver Sands Resort looms over and ruins the vibe. The rip currents can be strong.

Beautiful beach, not crowded at all. White sand and nature around, be careful with swimming though, this is more for kitesurfing and surf. There was a lot of weed on the sand during my stay.
