Amazing little restaurant a little off the beaten path but near the airport and beaches. Extremely friendly staff and literally fresh off the boat seafood (you pick your own fish from the days catch). We had the Red Snapper steamed in coconut sauce with a side of rice and peas. The coconut sauce was rice and bright with fresh okra, carrots and pumpkin. The rice and peas was served in a large bowl that could have been a main course or shared plate. Most definitely recommend and hope to return on future trips.

SNAPPAZ Seafood Grill and Sport Bar was an excellent experience from start to finish! The food was full of flavor, fresh, and served hot. I had the Stew Pork with white rice, and it was tender, well-seasoned, and definitely hit the spot. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. The atmosphere was relaxed, clean, and perfect for enjoying a meal or catching a game. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service!

Alyssa was very nice and professional. The food & drinks tasted good as usual. I think the price for the 3 meat platter could have been a little cheaper like $5,500 or $6,000 given the portion size. It works out better if you just order three different entrees (curry goat, oxtail & fry chicken). The difference is around $800 if you do it that way but the portion size would be way more than just getting the platter which we realized after so that was the only disappointment. Also got mostly bones in the curry goat. Otherwise, I would always recommend Snappaz.

Snappaz was on our list of MUST HAVES for this trip. We ordered the curry goat, jerk conch, and mango spicy shrimp. The food was good. The service could have been better. I wanted an alcoholic beverage and picked the bartender’s “choice”. It took much longer than it should have to get the drink based on number of people in the restaurant. I hate to complain about the time it took for the food because I realize it’s a made to order experience, BUT…an hour is a long time to wait.

A Masterclass in Cascading Service Failures (visit June 21 2026) Our group of eight left the hotel at 7:00 PM and arrived at 7:20 PM. We were seated quickly near the stage where a live duet was playing. Another server offered to move us to a different table for a better view, and we accepted. This table change immediately caused a massive breakdown in communication and completely messed up our request for four separate checks. The ordering process was a total mess. Our assigned floor server told us she’d be back in three minutes but took ten, only to come back and say she needed a couple more minutes. While we waited, a different server in a yellow shirt came over, answered our questions about the menu, and took the orders for my partner and me. Then our original server returned and started taking orders for the entire table all over again, including ours. The yellow-shirt server came back, the two of them exchanged words, and the original server stayed to finish taking the orders. The menu information wasn't accurate either. While the plantains came out fine, we were told they didn't have steamed vegetables, yet the garnish on our plates was clearly steamed veg. A ginger beer we ordered came out in a cheap plastic bottle with no actual ginger listed in the ingredients, so we had to ask them to take it back unopened. When the food finally started coming, only 4 out of the 8 entrees arrived in the first round. One guest just got their calamari appetizer and never received their actual entree at all. We had to wait another 15 minutes for my partner's and my plates to drop. Surprisingly, we were the only two people out of the eight of us to get our correct rice accompaniments. The server completely vanished after that. The level of bad service bestowed upon one couple was ludicrous - 1 person ordered mashed potatoes plus mac and cheese but never received the mashed potatoes, while their partner didn't get their shrimp or chicken wings at all. Everything arrived lukewarm or cold, and the food quality was highly disappointing. The jerk chicken tasted like basic grilled chicken with no traditional flavor, and the fried chicken was completely mediocre. The spicy mango chicken had zero mango or spice and tasted like a cheap yellow sweet and sour sauce—we jokingly called it egg foo young juice. The fried shrimp was awful—incredibly salty and tasted like it was fried in old, dirty chicken grease. It went completely uneaten. Tired of waiting, the guest with the missing shrimp and wings went straight to the kitchen and management to find out where the food was. This finally brought the manager to our table. When our server finally showed up, another guest in our group confronted her about the issues. She immediately passed the blame to the kitchen and didn't even address the missing items. I told her this was unacceptable, especially since the manager had already openly shared his own poor assessment of her skills with us. The manager handled the complaints at the table well and ended up bringing out the missing shrimp and wings in a to-go box for free. However, the billing process was a disaster. We had to manually point out errors on our split checks, like removing the missing rum punch and the entree for the guest who only got calamari. The missing sides and accompaniments were never credited on any of the bills, meaning we were charged full price for incomplete meals. The manager gave us a 10% discount, but he knew perfectly well it would only negate the unannounced/undisplayed group surcharge we were never told about before sitting down. To top it off, the cashier was very reluctant to give us our change, completely ignoring us to move on to the next couple before finally handing over our balance. The ultimate sign of a failed dinner came when we got back to the resort and the entire group had to go searching for food because everyone was still starving. It was a stressful, completely disorganized experience from start to finish. Snappaz --- Never again
