I’ve been going to South Coast Laundromat for quite some time. I’m giving two stars because I haven’t always had poor service in the past.
However, the last three times I’ve used their service, I received my clothes back smelling as though they hadn’t been washed at all, not even a hint of detergent or fabric softener. What makes this even more confusing is that the bottles I provided still had product remaining in them, so it wasn’t a case of the detergent or softener running out.
On two occasions, I mentioned the issue while I was there in person. The last time, I called to let them know and was simply told that they would “make a note of it.” There was never any offer to rewash the clothes or attempt to resolve the issue, and I still paid full price each time despite the problem.
Someone might wonder why I continued going back after these experiences. The reason is that I’ve been using South Coast Laundromat for years, and this level of service wasn’t always the case. I wanted to give them a fair chance. Unfortunately, after the most recent experiences, I’ve decided that I won’t be returning.

We’ve been living aboard our sailboat for the past six years, traveling to ports all around the world, and in that time we’ve used countless laundry services—some good, some not so good. Without question, South Coast Laundry in Barbados is the best we have ever experienced.
On our most recent visit, we had five full bags of laundry. We called on a Sunday afternoon, and Tyler arrived promptly to pick everything up. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. Just 24 hours later, our laundry was finished—fresh, clean, and perfectly folded. Tyler even called ahead to be sure we were back on the boat before delivering everything right to us.
The service was flawless from start to finish, and the price was exceptionally reasonable. We truly could not have asked for a better experience.
**We highly recommend South Coast Laundry. They are, without a doubt, the best in the business.**

VERY RUDE, very inconsiderate. The lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and dismissive from the start. The collection time given was 4:30 pm, however she was not there. The guests then had to look for and identify their own clothes without any assistance. When calling to ask for clarification and help, her attitude was again rude, unhelpful, and disrespectful. There was no apology, no accountability, and no charges were taken off despite the inconvenience caused. This situation reflects very poor customer service and a lack of professionalism.

Great service!! Drop off in the morning and clothes all clean and folded by 4:30 pm!! Highly recommended!!
