Took a random trip with a workmate and ended up here . Fantastic views of the Atlantic, a well preserved centuries old church , with some of the historical marks like the fire still intact
Definitely one of the oldest buildings and graves I have seen in my life
Too bad the compass isn't there anymore but the pure gothic vibe makes up for it
Definitely worth a visit

Lovely church and so much history you can learn. The views from the church are amazing. A good stop when driving around Barbados.

Our tour guide was taking us around the South/East coast for a day trip and brought us by this historic church. While it wasn’t initially on my list to see, I’m so glad he took us. It was Sunday so we got to pop our head in to see/hear a bit of the service.
The grounds are incredibly beautiful. The architecture is grand. Walk through the cemetery in the back. There is a viewpoint by the sundial (also cool) with views of the east coast.

We visited this historic parish church as part of an excursion offered by our cruise. It's located on a hill overlooking the Atlantic ocean and offers great views of the countryside. The stone church was built in 1660s to replace the wooden church of 1640s and has been subsequently being rebuilt due to damage from storms. The gothic architecture of the church is unique to this part of the world. Highly recommended to visit.
