This is a perfect way to spend a day! The tour and guide was very worth the ticket. Tastings were many types and flavors. They have food and drinks to order and the most surprising part was the absolutely gorgeous beach you can use. I did not read that you need closed in shoes and pants, but they have those if you don’t bring any.

This place is amazing -- makes the best rum punch! Highly recommend if you are visiting Barbados. We chose Stade's while visiting Barbados on a cruise because it offered facilities, a beach, and rum tasting with the added bonus of being close to the port. Booked the rum tasting and beach experience ahead of time and had no issue getting a cheap taxi from the cruise pier. Upon arrival, we received a welcome rum punch, rum tasting, and beach chair/umbrella. Rum tasting was an amazing experience and the rum was tasty. Facilities are expansive (bathroom, changing room, and shower) and clean. Staff are very friendly and the rum punch is AMAZING. Best in the Caribbean. Beach is not crowded - really a great experience compared to some of the more crowded beaches on the island. Highly recommend.

We took the guided tour of the distillery, and it was awesome! We had a very deep overview of the process, with the chance to see each detail of it. Our guide, Asha, was super gentle and fun, leaded us amazingly. There is also the beach bar and beach access, both very recommended!

We wanted to do rum tasting and Stades offered a great combo of tasting and access to beach. We didnt have a reservation, there was plenty of parking and for cca 25€/pp we got a welcome drink, accesss to beach club and 4 samples of rum. There was food and snacks served as well for standard prices. Cards accepted. Downside-out of all rum distillery tours/rum tastings, here we got the smallest amount of rum to taste :( And it was so good! Since they make it next door, they should consider being more generous

Honestly, one of the best tours I’ve ever done! I did the rum tasting with beach access. If you don’t want to spend ages walking around a distillery, then this is the tour for you. Short, professional, informative and fun! The visitors centre is beautifully designed and this is where you’ll receive your delicious complimentary rum punch which really did pack a punch! The staff here are the most welcoming and friendliest I have come across in Barbados. Before the tour, you watch a very short introductory video about Stades Rum. If you arrive earlier than your tour time, you can relax on the loungers on the (private!) beach where you may even get to see some horses. There are towels to rent or you can bring your own. Our guide, Asha, then got us all together and we introduced ourselves. We headed upstairs for the tasting where we had gorgeous ocean views and a lovely sea breeze. We tasted four rums, the coconut one was divine! Asha was such a friendly, bubbly, energetic, informative, interactive and funny guide. The tasting lasted for one hour, the perfect amount of time in my opinion. You can then get more cocktails or food at the bar. You can also relax on the loungers on the beach. It would be a great activity to do solo or with a group as the beach access really makes a day of it. One of the best tours I’ve ever done. Highly recommend!
