I recently visited this Starbucks location on Friday, May 1st between approximately 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM, and unfortunately, my experience was well below expectations.
Upon entering, the initial interaction at the register was unwelcoming. The staff member assisting us displayed a noticeable attitude, and when we inquired about menu items (such as the jerk chicken bagel), we were told they were unavailable in a dismissive manner. There was no proactive communication about what items were actually in stock, which led to confusion while ordering. It would have been much more helpful—and standard practice—to clearly inform customers upfront of limited availability rather than expecting them to already know.
Additionally, the overall food selection was extremely limited, to the point where many customers who intended to stay and work were leaving to purchase snacks from the neighboring store instead. This created a noticeable gap in the in-store experience.
In terms of beverages, I ordered chai drinks with added vanilla syrup to ensure sweetness, as I’ve previously experienced inconsistency at this location. Despite this, the drinks were still noticeably lacking in flavor. Later, I ordered a matcha lavender drink with additional syrup for the same reason, along with a cheese danish. The danish pickup process was disorganized—when I approached to collect it after hearing it called, I was abruptly told it was not mine, only for staff to then realize it was. This confusion could have easily been avoided with a basic system such as taking and calling out customer names.
The matcha drink took nearly ten minutes to prepare despite there being no visible backlog of orders, and it was one of the most bitter beverages I’ve received from Starbucks. When I returned to request the additional syrup I had already paid for, there was no staff present at the counter for some time. Once someone returned, I was incorrectly told that syrup required an additional charge and was instead handed Splenda packets, which was not an appropriate substitute for what was ordered.
Throughout the visit, there was a consistent lack of attentiveness, organization, and professionalism. Orders appeared to go missing or be delayed without explanation, and multiple interactions with staff were unnecessarily curt.
This experience was disappointing, especially given the standard of service typically associated with Starbucks. I would strongly recommend additional staff training in customer service, communication, and order management to improve the overall customer experience at this location.

As someone who works in the wildey area and frequented Starbucks on a regular basis this year, the customer service from the ladies working in this branch is extremely poor. There is only 1 lady who wears glasses that is pleasant and her drinks are always well done. The others always have a stink attitude on their faces, no greetings, no haste while taking orders or preparing drinks. They will see you at the cash register and will continue to pack away stock while you are just standing there waiting. This branch never seems to have loyalty cards and the drinks are a hit and miss based on who is making them.

Been here a couple of times now and won’t go back, why?
- Service is always cold, like they’re doing you a favour and they’re not happy about it.
- I paid a premium for a double shot Grande, and they only filled it 3/ quarters of the way up… clearly I was keen for a big coffee, and they couldn’t care less…
Also, the sugar section is always a mess, depleted, and I always have to ask for a stirrer… Meanwhile, staff are sitting around doing nothing…
Bottom line- find a better coffee shop!

Very clean place, fairly new. Restrooms are very clean, spacious for studying and reading. Sitting by the entrance it’s oddly warmer than by the restrooms, maybe some curtains could help with the heat from outside heating the windows, or turning on the AC, it seems that side was turned off. Plenty of parking!

It appears that some of the seating at this Starbucks is unofficially reserved for employees. I've tried to sit at the last table on multiple occasions when the store is full, only to be turned away. The chairs are always empty, except for a Starbucks apron hanging from one of them. When I inquire about sitting down, the staff insists that the seat is taken, which doesn't quite add up.
