The food here was actually excellent. Some of the best I’ve had in Barbados so far. As a Caribbean person, I expect well-seasoned food, and this was the only place I ate on the island that seemed cooked for people with taste buds that are actually active. The rest of the food on the island often feels like it’s made for unseasoned tourists (if you know, you know).
I visited Terrys twice. The first time, I had grilled marlin with rice and peas and macaroni pie. The second time, I had fried shrimp with macaroni pie and vegetable rice. Everything was very well-seasoned, and the portions were generous for $11 USD per meal.
I’ll definitely be returning to Terrys the next time I’m in Barbados.

Rude, ignorant people behind the counter. Waited 30 mins for a terrible burger (for a child), served creamated and not as ordered (no sauce). In-different attitude when complaining.
Totally ignored stood at the counter numerous times, just treating me like a stupid tourist. Terrible attitude from the women serving. Perhaps try listening to a customer who is ordering??!! Then it won't be wrong.
Far better places in this square like Ackee or Soubrana.
I noticed it says closed online, probably a ploy to get rid of bad reviews.

I was here with my family on Whit Monday 2026. The food was really good but the wait time of an hour was unreasonable. The food seems to be already prepared so I don’t understand why the wait time is so long. Also, the customer service was very poor. No apologies about the wait time or forgotten orders. Several customers complained. One woman with a baby in the stroller decided to leave. Just unfortunate as we were really looking forward to this experience. I had my two hungry young kids waiting for food. Bad experience for first time tourist in Barbados.

Had such high expectations when it came down to the flavour of the food based on the some reviews and video on TikTok. Was pretty disappointed by the flavour. Wasn’t giving any wow factor to say I would go back. Macaroni pie wasn’t even a macaroni pie, tasted like ketchup mixed with macaroni barely any cheese. Sad to say we didn’t enjoy our meal.

Disappointing to have experienced dishonest people here when the rest of the island has hardworking and honest people. The terrys truck at worthing square has 2 guys who continuously scam the tourists in different ways. The menu board clearly says 3 sides and salads are included in the meal but they rang us up separately for each side and told us the board “has not been updated”. While we were waiting for our food the tourists behind us were told the card machine was not working and they were charged a service fee almost quadruple the 17% required amount. Yet another tourist was coerced into walking over to buy the guys 2 smoothies from the stall next door (USD 18). The meat portions are much smaller than the other vendors on worthing square - and they never get any of the orders correct. After you order you get told they ran out of the sides. Avoid these guys- you are better off with the other vendors.
