The manager called to confirm the date the plumber would come, then reconfirmed on that same day. The technician gave notice of his arrival time, was professional, pleasant, and completed the job efficiently. As usual, the service was top class.

I found Justin through Google and he had amazing reviews. Was able to make an appointment right away and he was prompt on arrival. Justin conducted himself in a professional manner and explained what was wrong and what he needed to do. He kept me informed throughout the process as well. He cleaned the area with bleach and left no mess whatsoever. I have already recommended him to the neighbor and for my Grandmother. Justin's a gem!

Justin Stuart is a highly professional plumber. Unlike others I contacted, he responded promptly, followed through on his word, and did a good job. He was open to conversation while working—I attempted to excuse myself, and he said that he was accustomed to people watching him work. His pricing was higher than expected, but reliability is valuable, so I accepted it.
However, things soured due to his reaction to a personal message I sent. I reached out to him in a respectful and straightforward manner:
Hey Justin,
As a gay man living in Barbados, finding potential partners is already challenging due to the limited pool of emotionally intelligent, communicative, and trustworthy people. Cultural attitudes make it even harder, and you can’t always tell if someone is gay or bi just by looking at them. With few opportunities to meet like-minded men, I’ve decided to take chances with those I find attractive and who embody these qualities.
I hope this doesn’t come across as me fetishizing a plumber—I'm sure I would have reached out regardless of how we met.
If you’re gay or bisexual, I’d like to get to know you better. If not, please take this as a compliment. It won’t affect our working relationship on my end, as you do a great job and are dependable.
He responded:
No. I'm a straight man and I have no interest, in such things. I have no problem working with people unless they cross my boundaries and you just crossed one. I will honor the warranty period for the job I did today but will not take on any future jobs. I appreciate you choosing my services and take care.
If I were a woman he had no interest in, I suspect it would not have gone this way—a simple, “Sorry, I’m not interested,” would have sufficed. I’m not sure what boundary was crossed. As a business owner, it’s worth remembering that your client base includes LGBTQ people, whether you know it or not. Homophobic attitudes not only alienate potential customers but also reflect poorly on your professionalism. While his work as a plumber deserves a 4/5, his inability to handle a respectful interaction with maturity makes his rating as a human being much lower.

Professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They'll come in, inspect the issue, give you quotations for each level of the repair and get the job done right the first time.
