The Barbados Cancer Society is an incredible organization doing vital work for our community. They provide education, early detection programs, patient support, and valuable resources for those affected by cancer and their families. The staff and volunteers are compassionate, professional, and dedicated to making a difference. Whether you’re seeking guidance, screenings, or just a listening ear, the Society offers a safe and supportive environment. Their outreach and awareness programs also help promote healthy lifestyles and encourage early testing, which can save lives. A true pillar of healthcare and community support in Barbados – thank you for the work you do. 💙

After today's encounter, I am convinced that the staff are more concerned about their egos than the healthcare of patients. After completing a test, I was told I would receive a call once the results are ready. Called after more than two weeks of no updates and was told, without stating the type of test or when I did it, that the results would be mailed to me. After expressing shock that medical results would be mailed, lengthening the time treatment is applied, I was put on hold then told the results were mailed on July 28th after having done a test on July 26th. The young lady saw it fit to argue with me rather than offer an apology for the miscommunication. Another intervened after I reiterated that no one mentioned mailing the results and how ludicrous it is that you would mail medical results, "Notwithstanding that, how would you like to proceed." This is a dismal representation by the staff and if they are so sloppy and unprofessional, it begs the question of the credibility of medical advise... Unacceptable service!!!

I would like to thank the Barbados Cancer Society on behalf of my family. We learned about the help you offer late in the fight and unfortunately our family member has passed. You were swift in providing service and in the process of measuring for a ramp. We thank you for all that you do in assisting families in their stressful times. I will be making a donation in my family member's name and will encourage my friends to do the same. Thank you for the work you do.God's Blessings.

I have been calling since yesterday and emailed with no response. I guess I will get great service if I finally get an appointment to see or hear a live person
