Me and my husband had good food in here and the house wine is fine also.
I’m vegetarian and the menu had only one option, which was a veggie pasta! It was really good, with caramelized onions and roasted red peppers. My husband had the Angus burger after reading good reviews and thought it was ok!
The place is really nice, by the river and service was fast!

The Captain delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had on the island. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming. VOB and Marianne were fantastic hosts who truly went above and beyond to cater to our needs, accommodate our dietary restrictions, and make us feel taken care of throughout the evening.
The food was unforgettable. The calamari was absolutely outstanding—tender, flavorful, and it practically melted in your mouth. The red snapper was cooked to perfection and easily one of the best seafood dishes I’ve had in Curaçao. Every dish that came to the table was impressive.
The bartender was also kind, understanding, and added to the great overall experience. To top it all off, the view was stunning and created the perfect setting for an amazing meal.
I would absolutely return and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Curaçao.

Lovely European meal served at a leisurely pace. I love to not be hurried along during my dining. The staff were so attentive. And we enjoyed our steak, lamb shawarma, and surf & turf burger beyond description. The views of willemstad harbor are unparalleled and the staff made us feel like family!

The price-performance ratio here is great! 🤩👍 The food was delicious, and the staff was also courteous, regularly asking if everything was okay with us. The restaurant is located close to the water, so you have a beautiful view and there is always a pleasant breeze. We were extremely satisfied here and would happily come back.

Service really does make a place good or bad. The Captain has amazing service and everyone makes you feel welcome and wanted. The ribeye was a perfect medium rare, and the calamari was perfectly cooked. I was recommended the flan along with my cappuccino and it was pleasing. Rich and decadent with a firm texture. Also, sitting outside at dusk turning to evening enhanced the experience ten fold with the gorgeous view outside.
Overall, everything was outstanding and excellent. If you're in the area, give this place a go and be happy with your choice; I am!
