With Gratitude Thank you so much for your hospitality. Glen and Vanessa were truly lovely. From the moment we arrived, Glen made us feel welcome and cared for like family rather than guests. Her sunny disposition made each morning special as she helped with breakfast, lunch and dinner suggestions, and even arranging a massage. We were especially grateful for the stories she shared about her travels and life. She is a truly special woman, and we feel fortunate to have met her. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and wonderfully quiet. We loved having our own patio with direct access to the pool and pergola, along with the private beach and kayaks just steps away. Being within walking distance of the restaurant was also a treat. Breakfast each morning offered three fresh, flavorful, and generous options. This was our third visit to the Cayman Islands. Although we have stayed at larger resorts in the past, this experience was a refreshing change. The intimate, relaxed setting gave us precious family time, and Jackson especially enjoyed playing with another little boy at the pool. The warmth of the people made the entire stay memorable. With gratitude, The Micheners

The service is wonderful. Rooms very comfortable. Breakfast is a nice perk, but after staying for two weeks, we longed for a bit more variety. Glen and Mary were perfect hosts and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The only reason for the four star review is that when choosing a place to stay in the Cayman Islands, you need to be aware of the relentless wind on the east side. This is the windward side of the island and probably why it is sparsely populated. Our unit was closest to the beach and it was so windy, we could not use the outdoor seating area. Anything left there would be blown away. The inner units are cheaper and look to be a downgrade from oceanfront, but we wished many times that we had taken an inner, slightly protected unit. Once again, the rooms are nice and service excellent, but the location is why it is so affordable relative to the west side.

We just returned from a week at The Cottages. We stayed in the Penthouse & loved it. 2 rooms, 2.5 baths, a large comfortable living room and a balcony facing the pool & ocean. Glen was fantastic, assisting with check in, cooking & serving complimentary breakfasts each morning to arranging an in room massage with a licensed massage therapist. Because of only a small number of units, there were many times we felt like we had our own private beach and pool. Bring water shoes because it can be rocky in the ocean. If you walk down the beach to Morritt’s, the snorkeling under & beside the pier is fantastic. There is a grocery store within walking distance (about 0.2 miles) or a 1 min drive. There are also some great restaurants nearby & the Rum Point area is only a 25 min drive. I’d recommend renting a car for the week or shorter term for excursions. Highly recommend the Cottages! Hope to return!

This is our second vacation staying at the Cottages and the accommodation and staff are amazing!! Couldn’t ask for better service or a more low key relaxing atmosphere. The resort is very central to many attractions and superb restaurants. Special thanks to the Cottages staff Glen and Mary for taking excellent care of all our needs. Lynn Bodden, you have a real gem of a resort and fantastic staff….We will definitely be back again 💕🥰

My husband and I stayed in the Penthouse unit in the cottages for four nights and absolutely loved it! The service and hospitality was amazing- Glen greeted us upon arrival, made sure we had everything we needed during our stay, and brought us a homemade breakfast daily. Her banana bread is delicious. We will miss Glen! The penthouse unit we stayed in was incredible, well equipped for a longer stay with everything you could need. It was clearly brand new, everything was immaculately clean, and it was incredible spacious. We worked during our stay and had ample room to take calls (the wifi was great!). The unit would easily accommodate an entire family and would be comfortable for a long term stay. The location was perfect for us as we were seeking something quiet, but close to activities. The beach is right at your toes, there’s a dive center a short walk away, and you’re closer to activities leaving from Kaibo like the bioluminescence tour or stingray city. We would recommend the cottages to anyone, and look forward to coming back one day!
